Update has wrecked the platform
The new update has made it difficult for me to read the articles I’m interested in. For example under the ‘AFL’ tab there is no option to read the subtopics such as SuperCoach, Local footy and AFLW

The puzzle section lets it down now can’t share it very disappointed
Scrolling not smooth
Even with the update the scrolling hasn’t been fixed does not scroll smoothly.
Why why why
Why do I have to put up with videos starting automatically. So annoying. Please give us a way to turn them off

Screen changes
Been using this app for years, and mostly it works great. The change to provide a text version if you touch the screen however is very annoying. Even the slightest touch of the screen sends it back from paper style to text style, then you have to tap the arrow at top to go back. Please put a setting that turns this feature that you added on or off so that I can read uninterrupted.

Crosswords broken
When will you get around to fixing the crosswords. It has suduko covering it and every day I wait for it to be fixed.

I have noticed in the last few weeks that the comments are repeated / duplicated. Must be a bug in the app. Also it is annoying that the headline is repeated in the first paragraph of a story
Nothing works but the ads
My wife and I have had the digital Herald Sun since it started when it was $5 a month which was great. Now the cost is $32 and the spellcheck and grammar have gone out the window, the comments only work about 5% of the time on the iPad, ads started appearing in between the paragraphs, now if you want to watch a video, you have to watch an annoying ad. I’m sick of stories that at times become daily about Megan & Harry as well as people I’ve never heard of.

What annoys me
When I go to the home section to look what the main stories are I find that mostly the headline stories and the majority of the other stories are all about sports. There is already a sports section for those interested so why not use the home section for current news stories as I would assume it would be.

Bring back the old format, hate the new, too hard to navigate. Latest update is hopeless, can’t scroll, keeps going backwards. Hate it

App continues to refresh, returning to the top story.
This can happen at times every few seconds which is very frustrating when you are trying to read through the stories below.

Getting close to cancelling my subscription, has been happening for months.
Not phone related, no other apps behave this way.

Buggy App
Please fix your latest app update, gets resetting itself while scrolling, very annoying.
Reloading, reloading, reloading
The app keeps reloading many times making it virtually impossible to read. I’m seriously thinking of cancelling my subscription
Bug fix not likely
The black screen has become worse than before. The latest update says bug fixes. Well the black screen is a major bug that you DIDN’T fix. Such a shame that a once highly regarded newspaper could let it’s readers down. I worked at The Herald & Weekly Times 40yr ago, when news was quality. When staff were shown respect and looked after. When you valued your readers. This online rubbish is just that…rubbish.

Terrible APP
Very glitchy, constantly reloads when going from one story to another so have to scroll from the top constantly
Outdated content
The app is basic but most annoyingly contains so many outdated stories on the front end that it is annoying any over a month old.
Not good
Agree with Disco 34 review, plus right now when scrolling articles I get a pop up saying “Discover our new recipes” that will not close
