Great
The best local newspaper in Indiana
Good paper but…
I would like to see more local comments on the opinion page, it is lacking that Bloomington feel.
Star press
I like to read about Muncie because that’s where I came from.
I miss the printed daily newspaper, but the HTO eEdition fills the void
Nothing will ever replace the printed newspaper, but the HTO eEdition provides the look & feel in the electronic Print Edition.
HT
Beats trudging out to get the paper! It’s also interesting to get other cities slant on local sports events.
OVERCHARGED
I have lived in this house for 46 years. I have paid for the Bloomington paper every month I have lived here. I pay now monthly on automatic withdrawal. In February, I was billed twice out of my checking account. On February 3 and again on February 24th. I called the billing department & received no satisfaction except that they had done so. I asked for one payment be returned. They have not yet done so. Be advised , please, if I do not see a return of one of my double bills I Will Cancel My Bloomington paper both print & digital. Thank you. Jack Flagg.
I now realize the sale of the Bloomington newspaper caused the problem. I realize progress happens. Unfortunately most of it seems to fall on those of us old enough (77 years) to like the print edition not the digital one. BUT we still can change. Enjoy both now, especially when the weather makes the long walk difficult!! Lol. One complaint? Yesterday’s listings would help not just color articles. Box scores of any yesterdays games. Help us purists some.

Not working since last update
Since yesterday’s update, all I get is a white page with “The Herald Times” in the middle. Then…nothing. Completely unusable.
Solid for a community news org
As the title says, good app for what it is. Especially find the digital edition of the paper useful
Very user friendly!
The online version is easy to navigate, zoom in on an article or out to scan!
Easy navigation
I am a hardcopy kind of guy, but when I was recently iced in I didn’t make it down the driveway for the paper for several days. That led me to explore the Herald Times E-edition. I was amazed how easy it is to navigate and to read the stories. I can even print the crossword puzzles, etc. It works for me.

Good way to follow HT
No delivery problems
A shell of what it once was
The quality of the HT has really gone downhill since taken over by Gannett. Articles are reprinted two days in a row, captions under the wrong photos, the e version is hard to navigate, there recently was a article that named one team as the winner when the opposite was true, grammatical errors are common, and I have given up on calling in to complain about late deliveries. I could go on. Is Gannett purposely trying to run it into the ground? My high school newspaper didn’t make these kind of mistakes! I would cancel but as a citizen I want to keep up on local news and I have no choice.

Just another liberal rag
Well-filtered news 3 days after event but there’s not a lot of choice in Bloomington
