Love the app
So far I’ve had the subscription for a few weeks. We originally got it for a Mariners promotion. I wasn’t sure if I would read the paper a lot, but come to find out I actually enjoyed it. I hate we don’t get the weekend papers, and there’s no way to add them into your subscription, so that sucks butt.

I do like subscribing to local news and having it read to me on the app. I do wish that the app would let me go into other apps while it is reading, though.
I enjoy the Daily Herald since moving to Redmond
We used to enjoy reading the print version every morning, but reading online on my iPad since moving to Redmond is a good substitute.
We are keeping up with Snohomish County news and read the editorials, especially Sid Schwab’s analysis.

I love getting local news from the Herald. There is always something interesting that is “news” to me.
Great Reporting
I was reluctant to switch from paper to digital for my news. The switch has been great! Getting the news wherever I am in an easy to use format fas been a pleasure. Contrary to what I had expected, I read more of the paper now. I’m so glad I made the change.
Please provide more unbiased reporting.

Fantastic
I much prefer receiving the Herald via the internet as I can read it at home, on vacation, in a coffee shop or ? And I don’t have delivery issues 😊.

The Herald always brings great analysis to their publication. So much better than other smaller local online publications which rely heavily on SEO and clicks.

Yes, I have learned to enjoy reading the news online. It eliminates the collection of paper that is recycled. The content is good. What I do miss are the weekly ads from local retailers. I miss “holding” the paper. Online is a good alternative. I can read the paper on my timeline! Especially since the move to USMail delivery! THAT IS a bad idea on sooooo many levels!

Good digital version off main Herald news.
I can’t figure out how to subscribe to the on screen print version (miss the comics) but the version I can get is excellent.
All news is local
I love the feature that allows me to read the online print versions. I am a bit of a dinosaur that way. And though the Apple News and other platforms have more recent postings, I find yours to need fewer corrections down the line.
Local news is important always
So glad to be able to read about local news and issues that pertain to my community! The reporters write clearly and concisely what we, the public need to know. I have an online subscription and am glad to have it!!!

Nobody knows what they’re doing
Nobody at the Herald is testing this app. I receive alerts, click on them, and the story isn’t there, even after refreshing.
I have corresponded with their staff. No improvement in performance.
They push their opinion pieces to the top of the feed.

Strong local news
The Herald is a great local news source. Highly recommend for Snohomish County coverage of legislation, happening and most event.
Difficulty!!!
I find it very hard to bring the Herald up online. The Seattle Times website pops up instantly, where the Herald makes me click on six different times and then shows me an old edition. Very Frustrating!!!
