A friend who has been hurt by the male gender both in her home and in her church, recommended this app. I initially used the app to support her and shortly realized how safe I felt in the village of these beautiful women’s voices. The first time I listened, in five months I had listened from Genesis to Revelation. I love the diversity of cultures. When I hear my culture’s voice I smile and feel more at home. I give it 10 stars times infinity! Thank you and well done!

Enjoy listening to women for many nationalities read the Bible. It’s free!
Worth it!
Honestly it’s a game changer hearing a woman speak, I’ve been processing so much more through listening to a women’s voice and feel a lot more safer. This app makes me more proud to be a women. I’ve seen a noticeable difference in my receiving of the Bible just through hearing a women!

This is such a wonderful project. As a woman who has spent many years in male-dominated churches, hearing the Bible in women’s voices is such a gift. I love the variety of voices and accents. The NLT is great for listening. I am a mom and a divinity student who has a LOT of Bible reading to do. So great that I can read on the go!
Also, the app works beautifully. so user-friendly. You can select by book chapter and verse, you can read along on the screen, you can flip back-and-forth between books with ease. I had tried audio Bibles on audible, and they would always quit working because they were such huge files. I never have that problem with this app.

Perfect
Thank you! I am hoping listening will help me get past my social media addiction and focus on the Lord. It’s been a 4 year process of a lot of deleting, hoping this will help me cut my last ties. I am so excited to have this good alternative, along with some more devotional apps

What translation is this?
The app is layout is simplified but maybe too simplified? I can’t figure out how to change translation and there was no start up guide to point out what each icon meant. Maybe this is something Cru can provide an update for?

This is my favorite audio Bible. New books are being added as they complete them. Feature request: add continuous play with a sleep timer.

For years I’ve been looking for an auditory app red by a woman instead of a man. I even thought of making one myself! Thankfully I didn’t have to, I found this app! Women with different voices and even accents read through the Bible NIV Version. The words being read are highlighted in yellow to make it easy to follow along. I follow along in the mornings, and in the evenings I play Psalms to go to sleep by it with my iPhone timer sit on stop playing in 30 minutes. I’m so glad I found this app. You will not be disappointed and you will read your Bible more.

I love this app. The readings are very engaging and clear. My only suggestion is to have an option for a timer. I really enjoy listening to the word before bed time and would like an option to set a timer for the app to stop running. Otherwise this run will run all night. Besides that this app is perfect l! Thank you

This app would’ve been perfect had it included the complete the Old Testament, there are too many books missing, other than that I love it. Remember, Gods entire word is necessary for everyone.

High quality audio, beautifully produced and easy to navigate. I love the diversity of the women’s voices. My only suggestion is adding continuous play rather than stopping after each chapter. My new favorite Bible app. Thank you, Cru!
