Great app
I’ve been using HerdBoss for several years. We have a small herd of dairy cows and share a few cows with our larger family dairy. Supper is fantastic for keeping track of shot records where cows are, and mating records. I’ve really been impressed with the customer service at her I had a question about embryo implants and they were quick to respond. I would recommend using

I love this app and all the functionality. I know you’ve “herd” (heard) this before but: Please make it possible to choose ALL animals in ALL herds instead of just one herd at a time! Thanks! Keep up the great work.

Great app
Been using the app for about a year for my flock of ~11 sheep. Works great and helps keep track of them. Great app.
Worth the money
Love this ap. Having pedigrees at hand being able to search names makes it so easy to look up and match potential crossings.
The only two things I wish I could do ( which maybe can but I just haven’t figured out how to yet)
One is to be able to bulk add shots/medication when we do the herd. Rather than have to go through every sheep individually.
The other is the option to see all lambing due dates over all the herds. Not just by each specific herd.

Amazing IT Support
I started out with the free version of this app, but my herd grew and so I upgraded. Worth every penny spent. This app does everything you would ever want of it from recording weights, FAMACHA scores, and tracking babies born from specific parents. I recently ran into a small glitch with the app, but once I contacted their IT department, they were super helpful, communicated with me in a timely manner, and fixed the problem as quickly as they could! The IT support on this app is Amazing! Would give 10/5 stars if I could, both for overall function of app and customer service!!!

Great management tool
We use herd boss to manage Approximately 300 head of sheep and goats. It great to carry your herd records in your pocket and be able to make notations about an animal on the spot. Don’t know how we survived before having this fantastic tool. Customer service is always responsive.

So far LOVING this app. Affordable. Easy to use. All around great and I’ll be recommending it to everyone who will listen.
Things I’d like to see:
The ability to have more bulk edit options
The ability to change what you see on the left hand main menu. The ability to hide or show tabs there
The ability to see a total of all animals from all herds (not just totals of each herd while “in” that herd).
But that’s just nit picking. Still absolutely love the app so far and some of these things may already be available I just haven’t figured it out yet. And the 30 day free trial gives you plenty of time to play with it without feeling pressured. Great app y'all.

Cool concept. App crashes A LOT. Lots of work to add 300+ goats, batch add would be nice. Not great for dogs, the information is just recycled from cows/goats/sheep and much of it doesn’t apply to dogs. The free version is nice but not even being able to add one picture per animal is a huge turnoff for me. I’m not interested in the paid subscription as the rest of the app is too clunky and basic. Will be looking elsewhere.
TLDR: App is basic and clunky, not customizable, paid version not worth it, free version not useful enough.

Worth the time and money
I’ve used a few different software programs over the years and always ended up being disappointed in some way. I’m yet to be disappointed with this program. It does every single thing I need it, want it and expect it too, and I haven’t even used all of its resources yet. The cost is … well, I’m not even sure what the cost is … $6 a month or something like that? I don’t even pay attention to the cost. It’s worth it.

Totally worth it!!!
I have been using since beta test version. Have my nearly 100 sheep in it. Especially like that I can keep records on sheep I don’t own, separate from my own flock, as I often give help to buyers with sheep they bought from me.
Haven’t started loading photos yet. Hoping to see reviews of that... is it worth the up charge?

Good App, needs more update
It used to be good, new update not very useful.
App looks really good but...
This app looks great and I am excited to use it for my beef herd.
Only thing is I don’t want to see it go to subscription, I’d rather pay once and be done with it. I get it everyone is trying to make money but it’s a shame everything is going to subscription based services. Ag profit margins are already tight as it is.

Extremely helpful
I have a small flock of sheep and this app has really helped me stay organized with my worming and medication schedules. I can now easily track medications to make better breeding decisions. Like others have said, I wish there was a way to add pictures; also, maybe a way to track Famacha scores. I’d happily pay for any upgrades-it is that good of an app :)

The best app for livestock! I love it.
The developer did a wonderful job creating this App. I also wish we could add photos of the animals, and also when doing bulk treatments that we could select “all sheep” instead of clicking one by one. But besides that, it is ideal!

very handy
love this app, definitely makes keeping track of your flock/herd easy. although it would be nice to also give a goat option as well! and would recommend adding the option to upload a photo of your animals as well to the info. other than that a great app for sheep/goat farmers!

I absolutely love this app. For one, it is free!! The second thing I love is the reports that you are able to print. It is very easy to use.

Great app for keeping record of my small flock (20 sheep). Would recommend. Would like to see a location to put in general notes on the herd as a whole. Overall great alternative to paper records!!
