Herding Cats AI

Herding Cats puts the whole competition weekend in your pocket. Built for touring dance competition companies, it gives every person on the road (judges, show directors, backstage crew, freight drivers and event managers) exactly what they need for the weekend in front of them: where to be, when to be there, who they're with, and what's left to do. Your company plans its season in Herding Cats on the web. The app gives each person their part of that plan, and keeps it current as it changes. KNOWS WHAT DAY IT IS Today changes with the calendar. Weeks out, it shows what needs your answer. On travel day, it's your flight, your hotel and your roommate. On show day, it's the run of show and the crew on the floor. When the weekend wraps, it's the debrief. EVERY WEEKEND, ONE TAP AWAY Events lists each competition you're assigned to, with the venue, the schedule, the roster and your room. It answers every "what's the address again?" text before anyone sends it. LANDED? ONE TAP. Check in when you land and when you reach the venue, and the people running the weekend see it right away. No more roll-call texts. LOAD-OUTS THAT ADD UP Scan a case's QR label to see what's inside, check gear in and out, and know what's on which truck. Say an item's name out loud instead of typing it. ONE INBOX FOR THE CREW Announcements from your coordinators and direct messages with coworkers, in one place instead of a dozen group texts. ASK THE KITTEN The built-in AI assistant knows your schedule. Ask what time you're on, who else lands at 4pm, or what's still missing from case 3. Attach a photo or a document and ask about it. THE PAPERWORK, FROM THE COUCH Availability, time off, debriefs and surveys, answered once on your phone instead of over three phone calls. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Herding Cats is invite-only: your company invites you, and there is no public signup. No ads, no tracking. You can delete your account from Settings at any time. Made by a family-run, US-based small business for the companies that run competitions and the crews they send on the road.
