After trying CattleMax, My Farm Works, and at least a dozen other livestock management applications, this has been one of the best I’ve used. It’s powerful enough to handle detailed record keeping while still being simple and intuitive, with a much smaller learning curve than many competitors.
We raise both cattle and sheep, and the software has worked well for managing both species. It strikes a great balance between robust features and ease of use, making it a tool I actually enjoy using rather than one I have to fight with. If you’re looking for livestock management software that is both capable and user-friendly, I highly recommend giving it a try.

Customer service issues
Very bad app interface and customer service

The app does cost a bit but has made our livestock and medicine records so much more efficient

Wouldn’t let me sign up!
Tried to sign up several times, to which a pop up said no connection was found and to check my internet! My internet was absolutely fine, but tried with my mobile data as well to be sure and the same thing happened again.
You don’t get much for free,
Downloaded the app to find it’s not much use unless you pay a monthly subscription 👎
Will not connect EID reader
This app will not connect to my EID reader I’ve now tried 3 different readers that Herdwatch say are compatible. I’ve also tried with my partners phone. Such a waste of time and money.

By far the best and easiest way to keep track of my animals health records!!! Highly recommend and worth the money!!!

Looks like a good app, wish it would of stated costs from the get go instead of after you download and create an account. $160 a year to try an app that may or may not help me isn’t worth it

Rubbish app. Don’t waste your time
Saw Flockwatch advertisement in press. Tried and failed to setup an account. After half a dozen attempts gave up.
Better than ever
Herdwatch always was brilliant but this new version is better than ever. Easier to use, quicker to input serves/medicine usage/tasks. Spray records is a nice new inclusion. Been using herdwatch for the past few years and would highly recommend.

Been using the new app for a few weeks now. I find it much quicker and easier to see, was having some problems but these were quickly sorted by the Herdwatch team
Time Saving/Cost Saving
Herdwatch NG is brilliant having moved from the original app 3 weeks ago it has improved a lot. Time saved and cost saving are top of the list so far. During Serving at the moment it is so easy to input services, see any repeats get a list of cows to look out and any issues arising saving time and money all at the touch of a button or two. Highly recommend.

Great system
What a n upgrade, so much simpler to use, saves lots of time compared to the older software.
Weight recording is a lot better visually, also adding medicine records far simpler.
I look forward to seeing the next gen after this one as don’t know how you could make it much better.
