MoreHere.info is a utility app designed to display your current GPS information, such as latitude, longitude, altitude, and speed, in a large and easily readable format. It also offers voice guidance for this information.
Here.info is compatible with iPhone and iPod touch devices running iOS 7.0 or later. It is recommended for iPhone 4S and later models. Cellular versions of iPhones and iPads can utilize GPS.
While the app displays GPS data, it requires a connection for certain features like reverse geocoding to determine the coordinate system number. However, core GPS positioning should function in areas with a clear view of the sky, even without a cellular signal.
The accuracy of Here.info is limited by the iPhone's GPS sensor performance. In areas with poor sky visibility like valleys or dense urban areas, there may be positional errors. For Japanese geodetic systems, there can be an approximate 5m error compared to official conversion sites.
No, Here.info does not contain advertisements. It is a free application that focuses on providing GPS information without any ad interruptions.
You can share your current location by tapping the email icon on the map screen. If you have set up an email address in the settings, it will be automatically populated for easy sharing.
Here.info supports latitude/longitude (in decimal or degree format), UTM format, and Japanese Plane Rectangular Coordinates. You can choose between WGS84 or Japanese geodetic systems for latitude and longitude.
The latest version of Here.info is 1.3.0, which was last updated on January 15, 2018. While not frequently updated recently, it remains a functional tool for its intended purpose.
