Drop a pin wherever you go. Days—or even years—later, scroll through your history and think, “Ah, that diner was great,” or “Wait, I bought this coat THERE three years ago?!” To check in at a place, you can: - View a list of places near the map pin and select the one you want. - Spot the place directly on the map with your eagle eyes—just tap it and check in. - If you can’t find the place on the map (hey, sometimes maps aren’t up to date!), you can manually record it. - And of course, if it’s a place you visit often but is hard to find, bookmark it so you can check in quickly next time. All of your check-ins are stored locally on your device. If you change phones, delete the app, or otherwise lose your data, it cannot be recovered. For this reason, it is recommended backing up your data to your calendar. Worried about privacy? No problem. You can grant the app write-only calendar access, allowing it to sync your check-ins to your default calendar without reading any existing events. Unless you need to choose a specific calendar, write-only access is perfectly sufficient.
