About

Heritage Odyssey is a travel guide to UNESCO World Heritage Sites that translates complex monuments into plain stories — sites that make sense, not just look old. WHAT YOU GET - Annotated pictures — understand what you're looking at, with the detail marked on the picture itself - Depth at every level — countries, sites and individual locations, with highlights, context and thematic timelines - Handy maps — explore on the ground, with pins at the exact spots worth knowing - A world map of every UNESCO World Heritage Site, most of them drawn with their protected-area boundary - Free to use today. No account required. Your location stays on your device. PRAGUE IS FINISHED — TRY IT Prague is the city written in full. Its UNESCO sites come with original photography, annotated so you can see exactly what you are looking at — which window, which saint, which century — and background written in plain language instead of heritage jargon. The Prague site map alone carries more than 100 pins. WHAT IS WRITTEN, AND WHERE Worth knowing before you download: the map and the site data are worldwide, the written depth and the photography are Prague. Every UNESCO site outside Prague opens with the official UNESCO text and nothing more, with more content arriving over time. WHAT IT IS NOT Heritage Odyssey is an app for looking and reading. Nothing is sequenced and nothing is timed; you open whatever catches your eye. It needs a data connection to work. WHO IT IS FOR Visitors who want to understand what they are standing in front of — the traveller who reads the plaque and wants the rest of the story, the city guide reader who would rather look at pictures than scroll walls of text, and anyone collecting world heritage sites one visit at a time. Sightseeing that explains the monument, the palace, the church, the garden and the museum instead of just naming them. Written and photographed in Prague.
