Heritage South App-Post update

I have used this app for years and have greatly enjoyed the ease of use and convenience that it has had. Recently, however, something has changed and any time I need to use it I have to go through a multi-step login process that I never had to before. Many times it would attempt to launch and throw an error message that required a reset. The error would only go away if the app was closed and re-opened, usually resulting in the same error. In order to reset, I would have to turn my phone completely off and restart it. Then I could go through the multi-step login. I’ll be the first to asmit my phone is old and may contribute to the problem, but it’s strange that it never happened before.

Dinosaur Bank

Can’t accomplish what you need to because of the delay in time. This bank is ancient and need to get up to date with 2026!

Easy to use

The mobile banking app is extremely easy to use and navigate. Makes checking my accounts, depositing checks, and transferring money a breeze! Thank you for all of your hard work for your members!

It’s good but not great!

The app does not keep up with real time balances.
Sometimes it will remove pending charges from your balance and sometimes it does not.
Also why can’t I set up text alerts through my app so that I can be alerted of a charge plus my new balance every time money is charged or spent.
The app is good, but I think it could be better!

they can’t block any transaction

i work all weekdays and can’t come in during the week and there is a transaction going through my account so hat i didn’t purchase and they can’t hold it nor block it like why can’t u block it so they don’t stop charging me till i am able to come in

No mobile deposit option!

Where did the mobile deposit option go? Terrible oversight as the android app still has it.

Disappointed

I think that Heritage south credit union needs a system. The present one does NOT work for most people. Additionally, the employees there don’t go out of their way to help you. I am seriously thinking of finding another financial institution to do business with.

Alerts are delayed until app is opened.

Unable to remove items that don’t apply to you. No way to remove information. Set up alerts still not getting. Have to call every time. Also required to agree to user id with no way to even see your account. Force to sign agreement. No way to decline and still see your account information.

The GOAT (Greatest of All Times) of Credit Unions

First off let me start by saying everyone is so friendly and helpful. I was trying to choose who I wanted to switch to due to the credit union I was with restructured and their footprint no longer covered my area. After looking at all possibilities, I came to HSCCU and have been blown away with their service. I work in the banking industry for a big well known bank in the southeast and the way things run with HSCCU are like a well oiled machine.

I enjoy using this app for all of my banking needs. Its easy to navigate. Thanks

App issues

The credit union has issues maintaining this app. The mobile deposits always are difficult unless it’s printed from a machine, the app cannot ‘read’ handwriting well. The credit union’s fix is to mail money to them or come to the bank anyway defeating the purpose of the app’s feature in the first place. It’s gray for looking at your account but it tends to freeze/not load well when it’s raining or is very slow to update. Calling this financial institution leads to snarky comments hidden behind a smile and no real solution.

I really like the old app better. Also, there is more of a delay in transactions showing up on the new app. I do like that it is quicker to log in though.
