Really good app for a small credit union. Their debit card app is terrible though.
I recently joined this credit union. The app is amazing. On par with the big bank apps, maybe even better. Can do pretty much anything on it, customize views, etc. very good app. I highly suggest they redo their debit card app, though (a separate app from this one), or somehow include the debit card features in this app.

What a great credit union. Everyone I have worked with (at the Cape Horn office) are just fantastic. Professional, kind, and willing to go the extra mile. BRAVO!
Better website
Made the move from Traditions/ACNB bank , HVFCU website is light years ahead.
Instant Transfer Not Working
This was a very frustrating experience trying to use the instant transfer feature to prevent overdrawing an external account. Only for it to not work. On the weekend there is no help so I was left without a resolution.
Easy banking
I have been with the bank for years. Have never had any issues and the app and site are easy to use.
Couldn’t live without HVFCU
I’ve been a member since the CU was started. So 60 years I think!
The app helps me monitor my accounts and do all my banking so easily. Staff are stellar, kind and accommodating and professional. Always make me feel like I’m the only member they need to help. Very attentive.

Absolutely terrible for ANY updates. Has been issues with app since Wednesday 19th February- it’s now the 21st and the issues are only getting worse. It’s gone from account information not being updated (error messages) to not being able to login at all. PLEASE UPDATE ASAP!

The app is always saying is the error and it always shows the amount of money that is not in my account. It’s freaking confusing.

Worst change over process ever seen!
Mobile banking required each check’s pre-established home account verified AND still has a 2-day business day approval.
And there was NO “ customer reach out” that a major change was occurring at HVFCU!

Forced to update
Doesn’t retain the saved password or the thumbprint when the app updated. Now can’t access the account because I’m locked out of course on the holiday weekend.

Mobile Check Deposit
Mobile Deposit is a good thing but...
The scan of checks is troublesome in that it clearly is a good check but I have to have the right lighting and perfect penmanship to get the capture to accept and writing “For Mobile Deposit Only” on the check is silly and meaningless for me.

Disappointed
As an older member, living out of the area, it is hard to deposit, 2nd person checks. Our son now lives with us, and occasionally, he needs to sign over a check to us. He is unemployed, no bank available & stores that cash checks charge. So we thought, we would deposit it & give him the cash he needed. Not happy. Never had a problem with HVFCU before. It would be a hardship for us to change banking to conventional banking. Any help?

Mobile deposit works every time
The app has all the necessary options of the website and the new app processes my mobile deposits almost every time on the first try.
