HermAce

HermAce is an official application by FURUNO ELECTRIC CO., LTD. It is used for VDR Remote APT, an alternative method of Annual Performance Test (APT) of VDR/S-VDR that does not require a visit to the ship by an engineer. The appearance of each VDR unit is photographed based on sample picture and transmitted to an engineer on land, such as an office, to complete the visual inspection from a remote location. Another feature of this application is that the progress of photographing and transmitting each unit can be easily seen by gauges and icons.
