UI freezes after a few minutes, then crashes

I use Redde to connect to my self-hosted Hermes dashboard from an iPhone 15 Pro (iOS 27.0.1). After a few minutes of normal use, the UI freezes — no scrolling, no response to taps — and the app crashes a few seconds later. It happens consistently

Response from developer

Thanks for the report. The device, iOS version, and the freeze before the crash all help. It looks like you’re on version 2.0, so please update to 2.1. If it continues, please reach out through the support link on the App Store page with a bit more detail, like how you connect to Hermes and what you’re doing when it freezes, and I’ll dig into it.

Very promising, but with speech gaps

I rather like this app a lot and have been testing with a cloud skiff for a Hermes Agent environment with four profiles used for scheduled tasks, Bot Mode, and outputs from other systems. Redde was able to get me hitched up to the web socket 9119/tcp service via my Cloudflare application presentation.

Some software exposes a place for BEARER token, Redde does not, but the Cloudflare One client authentication will gate you through after a sign-in if your session with Cloudflare Zero Trust has expired.

I would probably give this software a fifth star if it could use the Elevenlabs integration that is already configured for real-time speech with custom voices of my agents configured in the Hermes environment already. I don't want to use on-device speech usually, and I don't want to have to run another speech service. I just want to use the existing TTS/STT services provisioned in my hermes agent configuration.

I haven't experimented with the Siri directions to an Agent in Redde yet because of that. I use dictation on-device and I could use the on-device speech services, but I have other software that lets me talk to the agents in already familiar voices specifically made for them. (e.g. one of them is Failsafe the AI of the Exodus Black that crashed on Nessus centuries ago in Bungie's Destiny 2 😂)

ElevenLabs

Great app. Much more sophisticated interface than others. Just wish I could use my ElevenLabs voice.

This is the Hermes app I’ve been waiting for. Clean design, all the features, and CARPLAY! Awesome job!
