Good classic RPG

I liked this game a lot, however it felt more linear than the first and third titles, constantly running out of money without things respawning, with a heavier focus on just gathering materials (eg to build the ship). I did like the different islands but would have preferred a bit more hunting and combat - the third game is perfect for this. However it’s definitely worth playing all three games.
