What Happened?
Yikes! I just removed my old version of this favorite game & downloaded the new version. I can't read any of the text; seeing to buy village objects is impossible. Oh, I hope they fix this. It would be a shame to see a great game meet its demise this way.
Fun, BUT
The text is WAY too small. I can't read a thing! I don't think the app is worth $4.99. I had high hopes for this game.

Horrible update
I have LOVED this game for years, but this latest update has ruined it. It is low res, fuzzy, and the scale is off. I am so sad to lose one of my top two favorite games of all time.

I can't believe there isn't an update or a heroes 2, I look ever couple of months hoping. This is the best most engrossing match 3.

Best Game Ever
This's has been my all time favorite game. I still play it even though I finished all the levels months ago. I wish they would add more and let you build your town more. Or create a new one with just one town for each game (have a series) and then you could allow the user to build bigger towns and have more levels of play. Please don't go the route that other gamers have gone by charging to play. You have a fantastic product and it would only get better by having more.

One of the best match 3s on iOS
Easily one of the best buys I've ever made on the app store lots of levels + city building + unlockables distinguish this from the average match 3 puzzler.

Loved this game. The combination of match 3 & village building was great. I even enjoyed the villagers jumping around. Wish there were many more villages.....
Good game, interesting theme
A very good spin on the match 3/bejeweled theme. Graphics are nice, with a really good variety of levels to play. Village/tribe building is a fun side "quest" to mix things up.
The music is good, though there is a minor negative - I find the "hurry, time is running out" music to be overly annoying, taking away slightly from the overall experience. Not enough to change my rating, but enough to mention that it stands out as very out of place in the overall feel of the game.

Don't let it end
Pretty sure I became addicted to this game while I wasn't looking. Now I'm worried that I might be almost at the end. Too fun.
A Must Own Title For iOS!
If you enjoy match-three style games, Heroes of Kalevala is the pinnacle of the genre! I re-purchased this for the iPhone after owning it for the iPad for over a year.
The puzzles are well designed and addictive, the Sims-style village building is a nice little distraction between puzzles and the art style is really well executed.
Even if you know nothing of the Finnish mythology, Kalevala offers a satisfying contextual wrapper atop a game that could stand on its own without one. I highly recommend this game!
