Unfortunately this game is just a bad clone of an already popular mobile game, riddled with bugs that never get fixed. The whole selling point of this game was the Play To Earn mechanism, however devs seem to have misunderstood and made this a You play whilst THEY earn. The whole game is set up so you lose money whilst they gain. Competitions they run often promise payout in USDT and then they move the goalpost and spontaneously change the terms once completed, so you either never get a payout or are forced to receive it in their ever devaluing $NEXI crypto coin which they lock for 12 months, so no access to it for 12 months anyway. The developers are extremely delusional and do not take any feedback or constructive criticism well. Often leading to account bans across their socials. Also, all communication is via their Discord channel not in game, so you’ll often miss announcements resulting in you never receiving your rewards, as they require you to ‘claim’ rewards rather than auto payout even though you meet all conditions. This game and project started off great, could have been fantastic, but due to greedy, scammy, and poor mindset developers, this game has been a flop that doesn’t respect you, your time, or your commitment. I most say the game is very interesting and good
The most fun I had in years!
I’ve been playing Heroes of Mavia on my iPhone, and it’s honestly one of the most polished base-builders I’ve touched in years. If you’ve played Clash of Clans, you’ll feel right at home with the raiding and base management, but the 3D sci-fi visuals make it feel like a massive generational leap forward.
The best part for me is that the Web3/NFT stuff stays in the background. I can just focus on strategy and climbing the ranks without feeling forced to manage a crypto wallet, though the option to actually own my Land and Heroes is a cool bonus that adds real stakes to my progress.
It’s not perfect, though—the resource grind gets pretty intense once you hit the mid-game, and it’s a bit soul-crushing to log in and see half my Gold stolen overnight. It also definitely eats through my battery life during long sessions. Still, for a free-to-play strategy game, it’s easily the best-looking and most rewarding option on the App Store right now.
