Looks great but allows one note and then freezes up!

Freezes after 1 pitch

I can only get it to sound one pitch. To change pitches the app has to be closed and relaunched. The tone is also very low even at max phone volume.

What am I doing wrong?

I cannot get the app to response to touch except to change actives. I have my iPad volume turned all the way up and there is no sound. Help!
