Not impressed
I wished the developer would have had a trial period, even if for 1 day. It would have allowed me to see that it was not what I was expecting (better visuals). The color combination was hard to read without having to change my configuration on my device.
HESI A2 Prep
Preparing for the exam requires random moments to prepare. With little bursts of motivation that I have, this app provides little goals depending how often you choose to be reminded. The answers have instant feedback, and provides all subjects and you choose which ones to focus on!
Solid study guide
There are a few glitches on the app, particularly in the math section, but I took my HESI test and passed with 87.5%. I haven’t been in school for 8 years and it gave me the information I needed to pass the test.
Dissatisfied
I cancelled any future recurring payments and asked for a refund for the month I paid for.
The very first math question I got I had to flag because the correct answer is not even listed. The correct answer should be 6 but the app says it’s 14 and if you follow the order of operations (PEMDAS), addition comes before subtraction, which means the answer would be 6. If subtraction came first then the answer would be 14. I let that go but I’ve since had to flag 4 more questions just in the math section alone because the question is impossible to answer due to not being able to see the entire equation on the screen. I also had a science question that was difficult to answer because the font was randomly so huge the answers were written strangely.
Basically I find this app to lack consistency and I find it less than helpful. I hope to receive my refund promptly.
