Hesitate: Screen Time

Hesitate is a screen time app blocker that helps you stop unwanted scrolling, control distracting apps, and take back your time. Block the apps that pull you in. When you try to open one, Hesitate gives you a choice: complete a challenge, pause and state your intention, or unlock the app for a limited amount of time. APP BLOCKER THAT MAKES YOU EARN ACCESS Hesitate uses Apple’s Screen Time technology to protect the apps you choose. When a protected app is opened, you can: • Complete a quick challenge before unlocking • Choose between Fun and Serious challenge modes • Adjust the challenge difficulty • Choose exactly how long you want access • State what you intended to do before continuing • Follow an alternative instead of opening the app • Walk away and count the time as reclaimed You stay in control. Hesitate simply puts a step between the impulse and the scroll. CHALLENGES THAT INTERRUPT THE HABIT Instead of simply showing another “blocked” message, Hesitate can make you complete a challenge before you continue. Choose the challenge mode and difficulty that works for you. The goal is simple: make automatic scrolling less automatic. UNLOCK ONLY WHAT YOU NEED Sometimes you genuinely need an app. Hesitate lets you choose a limited unlock duration instead of forcing an all-or-nothing decision. Get what you need, then let the protection return. FOCUS TIME Need to get work, studying, or something important done? Use Focus Time to protect yourself from distracting apps during a focused session. YOUR SCREEN TIME, YOUR PROGRESS Hesitate goes beyond a single screen-time number. Track your pauses, reclaimed time, streaks, choices, and screen-time patterns so you can see whether you're actually changing the way you use your phone. PAUSE BEFORE YOU SCROLL The difference between Hesitate and a traditional app blocker is what happens in that moment. You can state your intention before opening a distracting app. Maybe you actually need Instagram. Maybe you wanted to check one message. Or maybe you opened it without thinking. Hesitate gives you a moment to decide. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account is required. Hesitate uses Apple’s Screen Time technology to protect the apps you select. It cannot see what you do inside those apps and does not need access to your passwords or messages. Some features require Hesitate Pro. Available plans, prices, trial eligibility, renewal terms, and cancellation information are shown before purchase.
