Password timeout too soon

I love the sensor - it’s a great way to know if there is any human activity in the house. There is one thing that bothers me about this app however. The password timeout happens too soon. It happened to me several times where I was on vacation and I wanted to activate Hex Home, but the app logged me out already and I didn’t have my password notes with me, so I couldn’t login. Many other apps save the login indefinitely - I wish this app would do the same. Sure I can use the password reset feature, but that is cumbersome during busy travel.

Effective Tool

Very cool device. I’m a network engineer with over 36 years experience and while I’ve heard of using Wi-Fi signals as a 3d mapping tool for many years, no one has really done anything to market this. Hex takes the dive in with a decently accurate system for detecting breaks in the Wi-Fi signals as people or pets walk through them. Using a bar graph as they do you can actually tell size of object passing. A cat will only produce a spike so high vs. a larger person, so you can interpret that data. Plain and simple, it works. Why this only gets 4 stars is because this product lacks easy to add features that would make it sell more and justify the price tag of this device. For example, where is the HomeKit integration? This could easily turn on smart lights, or other devices when activated. How about a widget for iOS and Apple Watch? Create an easy 5 minute graph for the large complication that refreshes. And please….how about a unique notification tone instead of the default iOS tone so I can recognize the Hex alert from the 100 other apps I have using the same thing. As a security product, at least let the notification stand out so it catches my attention. Finally , any chance for Dark Mode? So bright at night! Overall it does actually give me security peace of mind because it does technically do what it says and works very accurately. I can see any movement by the sensors. This is good for a small office or business who wants to monitor perhaps opening times, making sure employees don’t check out early, other surveillance needs, without stepping on privacy with cameras or insulting people with time clocks. Anyway, marketing pitch over. Good job Hex. Make me a happy long term customer please! Peace.
