Matches??

Ok so I like the idea of the app and the system of liking or passing, not disliking. I like the summary about have/want kids and adoption, as well as about religion, politics, drinking, and fitness. These get tough questions out of the way quickly.

The other prompts are dumb…

And the biggest issue uhhhh how do I see my matches??? I sometimes get a notification that I matched with someone I liked, but when I go to check that section of the app I just see the message “You’ll see your matches here!” and a picture of a hot air balloon. Soooo where is the match? Who was it? How do I message them?

I don’t want to sound conceited and I know there’s not that many people using this app but I’m an attractive woman no kids… I had 3,000 likes on OKCupid when I was 25… I live in a city with 10million people… I just don’t believe I’ve been using this app for a week and NOBODY I liked matched with me?

I mean maybe dating post-30 is just that bad and I lost my chance at love lol but I really think something is wrong with the app.

This app doesn’t work properly and there are very few people using it.

I wanted to like this app. I was even fortunate enough to meet someone almost immediately on this app and we even went on a few dates together. Sadly this app will “sometimes” show you who you’ve matched with but most of the time it wont. There is no where to click on your own in order to check and message your matches. The app just decides when do show your your matches seemingly randomly. I believe that this is being caused by some kind of initial design flaw/l or a programming bug of some kind.

Additionally, there are very so few people using this app, that you rarely get to see anybody’s profile on a weekly basis. Due to this, it seems to me that few people that are using this app, ever really log in to check their profiles/account. On top of this, Hey Baby doesn’t really give you any alerts when someone has matched with you or messaged you, or rather, any alerts are very random and rarely occur in the first place, so often it will be weeks before someone that you messaged on Hey Baby, will even message you back.

It’s a very frustrating dating app, and one that needs a LOT of work done in order to make the necessary improvements that are needed so that this dating app is even remotely useful for dating.

Easy to Use

My first impression of the app was the choice of colors/graphics. It has an inviting feel (red is the color of love) so that captured my attention right away. I didn’t feel bombarded with questions from the beginning like some other apps,. The questions were fun, quick, and simple due to the preloaded answers without the need to think of something clever on my own.

The app was simple to use up until I had to upload pics, I went back to change one, however the app made me upload all the pics again. It would be helpful to have an option to edit just one pic. Other than that, the app was smooth and seamless to navigate. I was just confused on the number system for potential matches. I feel like the explanation was vague and I was still left wondering what it means? The higher the number, the better the match? The verification process was also simple and straightforward and a nice touch for me to feel safe from cat-fishers. Overall, Heybaby was the fastest profile creation I’ve done on a dating app.

I would recommend my single friends to this app who are serious daters. It definitely seems like a place to connect with individuals who have or want kids or at least open to the kid/future conversations.

Great app!

Must try. This is a great app for dating. It can match you based of an array of questions you answer. This is more insightful and from real time dating rather than scrolling through some pictures and see what you like.

Serious Connections: Ready for Parenthood.

The registration process is easy, and the main thing is that this app is specifically for those who are seriously committed to relationships and are ready for children. I haven’t come across a similar app before.

Great app, they actually make sure people are real

New take on dating apps. Hope this one takes off more in my area. The initial set up takes some time (maybe 10m) but worth it. You have to be verified and have pics of your face or they hide your profile, Makes it harder for scammers or fakes.

3 pix required

requires 3 pictures in order to use the app. What if i don’t want to show my picture to future stalkers? How about letting me have control over my privacy and security? Why can’t you simply let users choose not to show a picture and still search for and message people? If people have a problem talking to someone who doesn’t show a picture publicly, that should be the other person’s choice, not the app’s.

Tried this app and I really enjoyed my time

Met a lot of cool people and had a lot of meaningful conversations

Father of two

Been really enjoying Hey Baby. Feels like it was created by people who actually care about the people using the app and not just a company trying to make money off of the whole dating app trend. Been on some good dates. Haven’t found “the one” yet but I’m hopeful.

Barely anyone

Barely anyone there only saw. 4 people and no one matched with me. At least with other dating sites I can get people to like my profile. Guess I don’t meet their standards oh well on to another app

Great Focus: Singles w/ or want kids!!

Hey Baby’s focus on singles who have kids and/or want to meet others who have the same kids-focused interest is a great concept. I’ve just started to use it and really appreciate the opportunity to get past this critical issue before even seeing one profile. I’m a recently single mom of 2, just starting this journey and so relieved that I can begin meeting others who share these same family-minded interests. It’s fun, interesting, and easy to use. I hope Hey Baby (love the name BTW) gains more traction and expands the opportunity to include other Hey Baby fans!!

Great App

Just getting into dating and found a good mix of people in the app. Highly recommend.

Great intentions, needs some work

When I first saw this app and read its purpose, my very first thought was FINALLY! This is the app I’ve been waiting for - starting dating with an even foundation, seeing only the people who are looking for true and lasting commitment. However, using the app has had its downfalls. It’s new, so there were only 4 people in my area, and none of them jumped out as potential suitors for me. It’s been a week, and no one new has shown up on my stream. So that’s a bummer and hopefully one that time will fix. And maybe the app will show up sooner in the search; it was waaaayyy down there when I first saw it. Not many people will ever come across this app and it deserves a chance because I think it has great potential. However, the real problem I have with the app is that you cannot see who likes you. You get told via notification that you’ve received a new like, however there is absolutely no way to view that profile. So I have no way of knowing if it’s someone I said no to and need to take another look at, or someone outside my set parameters that I’ll never be able to find. Even if I’ve said no on my end, getting a like from someone will encourage me to take a second look and make sure I don’t want to start a conversation. So that, in my opinion, needs to change quickly.

Fills a void

This app was built by people with a true passion for connecting single folks that are seeking a serious relationship and children. With this, Heybaby fills a void in the dating app landscape, and specifically is helping break the taboo of men expressing the desire for fatherhood. The best people are on here and using heybaby gives you the chance to make a lifelong connection.

Different, in a good way

Nice change of pace in dating apps. Hope they get more people but great idea.

Not enough choices for Los Angeles area .

Members hardly display any information about themselves. None of these people are interested in a serious relationship as the app claims . And I live in the center of West La within 17 miles radius had only 10 choices . Please don’t waste your time and money .

Be Warned: Unable to delete profile

I appreciate the concept of the app, but, like other dating apps, the prospects are dependent on who actually gets on the app. For my area, the number of prospects were so minimal. I tried several times to delete my profile but to no avail. Your existence on this app is permanent. That’s a major component to consider when opting to use this dating app.

They seem to care

I like that this app is focused on family… they seem to have their heart in the right place which feels good. Could use more people, but think they’re kinda new.

Too few people

The concept is good but for a dating app to be successful it needs people to use it. That’s where this fails. There are too few people using this. It’s been weeks without anyone new in my feed. I have an age range that spans 12 years and I’m willing to consider people within 100 miles. There shouldn’t be weeks without anyone new meeting criteria like that.

Banned without explanation?

Let me say off the bat I’m an American citizen born and raised in Ohio. I travel nonstop around the world and was very happy when I bumped into this app. I spent a ton of time putting my hey baby profile together and dived in just a few days ago. And then for no reason yet shared have been banned. It’s completely wrong. You have to tell people why they are being “banned” which is also a horrible word to use. So waiting…why have I been banned?
