Room for improvement
Just got an apartment with this service, but already see the vast area of improvement this app has to get to where it should be.
Having my thermostat restricted to just a single temperature is severely limiting. Scheduling is an absolute must, especially if you’re going to credit energy savings.
The interface of controlling the unlock/locking of common areas and doors is really cumbersome. An improved design that isn’t just text based is required here.
Implementing iOS widgets and even shortcuts so that I can control the temperature of my apartment automatically when I leave is a natural progression towards additional features.
Looking at the version history of this app leaves me skeptical of its future revisions, but I’m hopeful these ideas will be implemented soon. Because at present, it appears like a half-implemented IoT solution that has glaring areas to really take advantage of the ecosystem they’ve created.
