Cannot get any notifications after your last 2 app updates

Good news but no notifications
I like all of the news that comes up but I don’t get any notifications, so I have had to install the widget
Slick but notifications not working
Notifications don’t take me to article they advertise. Also app keeps logging me out however it still pumps me with notifications about links I can’t easily find.
Why log me out ?
Why have generic links in notifications to articles I can’t find?
Also live features (scores etc) why cant I get these as live updates on iOS? Notification ones are pointless
