This isn’t the greatest app you will use but it is okay because it scans the network for potential risks but not enough to find spy cams standalone
Underrated
The reason why i am writing this review is because i don’t think this app deserves that rating. Whenever or wherever i tried this app to search and find all cameras around, it just worked perfectly. I don’t even tried another app to make a comparison. It was my first and last choice and i don’t think you’ll need another app. It was worth every penny.

Good
I am not worried about that I am being secretly watched anymore! Hidden cameras are being used in places we can’t even estimate. I think we have the right to know if there is a camera in the environment when we are there. I really love this app! It’s like shazam, you can find the hidden cameras with just one click. It is very easy ?

Found one
The app found a tiny camera hidden in an electrical box near the hot tub at my daughters condo. Manager said it is a camera. Why did they hide it?
Excellent / upgrades continue use to make it more useful
HiddenCbox and HiddenC software keeps getting better. Utilities provide sophisticated/very useful information on device activity on your networks (even when remote from network)

My go to app for my local network scans
So far used every feature and really like the monitoring feature as well. Personally only need that in trouble WAN(internet) situations when for example a particular ISP says that everything is top-notch or their not having problems with latency or DNS servers always rebooting or going offline for hours… it does come in handy I use multi tools usually like solar winds toolset. I’m a more tech user familiar with advanced network engineering… so I’m just a lil more fluent than most but tools like this make things easy I. My opinion for the norm individual to know some key concepts and basics. EZ in EZ out and KISS PRINCIPLE (keep it simple stupid)

Removed 2 stars because they introduced ads you can’t turn off
EDIT: after the latest update, I don’t see obtrusive ads in the device list, so resetting to 5 stars again.
I quite like HiddenCbox as a device, but I am removing two stars because the latest version puts ads the middle of this app. This app is the only way to use their hardware device that I already paid $75 for, so the fact that there are ads for random VPN services smack dab in the middle of the device list when you scroll through the app really annoys me. And they’re not even giving you the option to disable ads for like a one-time $1 purchase (which would still annoy me), they’re just there permanently. Quite distracting too since the HiddenCbox app has a very minimalistic design and color scheme, and the ads I’ve seen are all garish reds on black backgrounds.

Great App, Larger Font?
Absolutely love this utility, but there’s a lot of empty white space that the option of a larger font could use. Not all user’s eyesight is the same and that can be compounded with aging eyes.

Easy to use and I’ve had better results tracing down an unwanted device on my network. I tried the premium version with a free first week and I will be purchasing this app . This is the First time I’ve reviewed any app but I think this ones should be known .

Helpful to manage network
Device provides information to better position devices to obtain best WiFi reception, plus, I position small extenders up high with extention cords to mimic tops of antennas to extend my network’s working perimeter.
Really great utility
I got this years ago when I just needed to check for an IP address and I’ve kept it on every phone I’ve had since. It’s been really nice to see the team behind it work so hard to update and improve it to something way more than a simple network scanner. It IS a pity Apple won’t let them scan MAC addresses but that’s out of any app dev’s hands and I can understand the reasoning behind the policy.
I’m currently using the free version standalone, but these guys’ work has made me want to get their dedicated hardware product when I’m able.

Nice UI, really useful -update
With the HiddenC device on my network this is a stellar way to track the state of devices on my network while at home and away.
I don't do remote admin on multiple networks, I just wanted a tool to let me troubleshoot my home network. This is exactly what I need. I can tag items by which UPS they are on (or other things, like which user owns them), and get email/text status updates when items change state. I love these features

This app is professional
I like how the dev team suggest user a way to discover any secret camera if you don't have any tool to do. I tried it and found that it worked. Besides, i download this app and I can make sure no camera in my personal place. This app has friendly interface and easy to use, you just need to scan all over your room or anywhere else with your camera. Moreover, it gives you instruction to find hidden camera on your own, so great.

I down loaded this app. I found the location of spy gear in the home .
I knew something was going on got some time . This detector told me where it all was and I was shocked of the places I found that they his the spy cameras .

Perfect for airbnb and hotels
Because of my work I travel a lot and stay at different places. You never know a place is safe or not but with this app I really feel safe in different places. Thanks a lot

Works fine on pinhole aka hidden cameras
I had to watch the video, I found it finds my pinhole cameras and small covert hidden cameras. So if in doubt watch the video on the website.
One of the most important apps on my phone
I work in the home automation and custom A/V field, and use this app extensively when setting up and troubleshooting my automation systems. Even without the MAC address scanning (thank you, Apple!), this is still the best network scanning tool I’ve used.

You buy a thing box and they will never leave you alone….Always hounding you to upgrade to their premium service in the matter how many times you want subscribe it doesn’t work so stay away from these people… And they don’t respond to text messages or emails either
