Disappointed – All Hype, No Results
I tested it in multiple lighting conditions with four hidden cameras in one room—it didn’t detect a single one. The magnetic scan was more responsive to my toddler’s drawing than actual electronics.
I really wanted this to work, but it just didn’t. I know the devs will likely respond with a generic message, but I won’t be reaching out. Great idea, poor execution. Hopefully future updates fix this, but for now, I can’t recommend it.

The AI analysis feature is primarily designed to guide less experienced users by highlighting areas that are commonly overlooked during manual inspections. It’s meant to help users scan more effectively, especially in unfamiliar environments. The magnetic scanner uses your phone’s built-in magnetometer sensor to detect magnetic field fluctuations. Wireless cameras typically emit stronger magnetic fields, while wired devices may emit much less—so results can vary depending on the device type and setup. Additionally, some hidden cameras do not emit infrared (IR) light, which means they may not appear during an IR scan. While these technical limitations exist, we’re actively working to improve detection accuracy in each update.
