Customers do no waste your money big rip off and game crashes not worth it at all. I want a refund or because I was charged 7.40 $ for this game instead of 3.99 . J.F 2024

Too glitchy

In many of the scenes if you don’t place an item in EXACTLY the right spot you can’t advance. Right now I’m stuck in the bonus chapter trying to put the wind chines on the hook. Nothing works.

Not happy!

This is a lovely game or at least it could be, if it functioned properly. I cannot make it into the first temple without the game crashing. I have tried reloading game on my iPad Pro, reinstalling the game on my iPhone to no avail. Game will not proceed later the very first scene. I have tried support to no avail. I’m told to attach a screenshot, which is impossible since the game crashes after I click on temple door. Support is completely useless and honestly just plain unhelpful. I see no effort being made by support to fix this issue. None. Do NOT even suggest I contact support! Do your jobs and fix the darn game!

Good game

Until the update the update erased all of my progress putting me back to step one and now when I try to enter the temple it crashes

Update caused file corruption

Way to go! Your update caused my game to have a file corruption and I lost my data. I was 2/3 of the way done. Thanks for sending me back to the start. What a disappointment. I will not be buying a game from you again, way to many issues with your games.

Extra Button doesn‘t work !!!!

I must agree with the previous reviewer. I also can’t access the Extra section which makes it impossible to play the bonus chapter!!!
Update: Issue was solved. Thank you.

Bonus game not working

The bonus game does not work. This is now the 4th time I’ve contacted you with no avail

Extras lassen sich nicht aufrufen!

Bitte dringend beheben.

So far:
Thanks to the support-team for paying attention to the problem and keeping me updated. That’s more than other supporters do.

Poor

I haven’t been playing much of this game to realise it has glitches. The hidden objects parts have been poorly put together. Just played one at the house and had no idea what I was supposed to be doing. It was obvious that the storyline needed items to be found. That’s fine if I had any idea what they were, usually the item would be highlighted, they weren’t. All I could do was read the words and click around the screen in the hope something might happen. Had to use the hint button constantly. This game is nowhere near as good as the previous ones. In fact I have hardly got into the game to realise that it was a waste of money.
UPDATE - have finished the game and found out that the Extra button does not work. Luckily the bonus game could be found by going back into the Play button. Another glitch that needs sorting.

Hint button doesn’t work

Won’t be purchasing full version. It’s weird that not all players experience glitches with these games but I consistently have major problems with Domini Games, often involving the hint button and inability to progress. I barely made it 10 minutes into this game until I experienced a game-stopping glitch.

Hidden Expedition: Paradise by LynxMinx

UPDATE: Guess what, Oleg? When I completed this game, I realized that I could not access the Extras Menu. So I dropped another star! Fix it!
Attention all players! I owe you an explanation. When I saw the name of the game and the logo, I had not checked out the game yet. Hidden Expedition was an EIPIX classic series so I figured Oleg finally released an EIPIX game. No, he just decided he liked the series and decided to pay homage to the marvelous Mirko Topalski. He even used the same agency, which was H.E.L.P. I didn’t have a problem with that at all. What I did have an issue with was such a horrendous flaw that his quality assurance experts failed to catch! It took Drosietwo (my Director of Quality Assurance) eight hours to unravel the mess and I updated Oleg every two hours, which was actually how it was fixed in a timely manner. So we all owe Drosietwo a huge thank you! Even with the fix, the game did not totally fit on the screen. (Did you even notice you could enlarge the gameplay interface outside of the HO scenes?; I’ve never seen this from Domini before.) In addition the touchscreen sensitivity was poor.
It’s unfortunate because the game itself was intrinsically a good game. It was lengthy and gorgeous. The game combined Aztec lore and crime, which was a nice change of pace from fantasy. Instead of fact cards, Oleg put his own spin on the collectibles. There was a plethora of tasks at each location, the HO scenes had a nice variety and there was a puzzle/mini-game to suit every player. If not for the touchscreen sensitivity issues I would have rated it a 5 star game. I will actually leave my rating at 4 stars because I enjoyed the game except for the lack of sensitivity. I still do hope that Domini will continue this series; it was one of the best from EIPIX. Speaking of EIPIX I am still waiting on news from Oleg. Check back on this review every so often to see if I get an update.
In other matters, I just received news from Friendly Fox. In the next week, if all goes well, they will release Edge of Reality: Hunter’s Legacy. Their games are all blockbusters and at least we can happily await a game. I am unhappily awaiting a major hurricane. Outside the cone at the moment but we all know cones can shift.
Happy gaming to all!

🙁

There was nothing wrong with the gameplay or anything I just don’t like the hidden expedition games . I find them boring and they are all alike.

Doesn’t work

Bought the full game, but it’s slow, short, and the bonus game doesn’t work. Also can’t update the game to the newer version. Waste of money.

Glitches in mini games

I was enjoying the game but kept getting glitches in the mini puzzles. Very frustrating

An Intriguing Game, But Where’s The “H.E.L.P”?

You are an expert at deciphering the ancient language of the Aztecs, and you are sent to an expedition site in Mexico to work alongside the ever-so-famous H.E.L.P. organization to learn about the Aztecs’ secrets. There, a revengeful Aztec Goddess is unexpectedly awakened from her beauty sleep; and you must discover a way to prevent her from destroying the world. The storyline maintains the thematic cliché of saving the world from an evil force; however, it’s conveyed in an interesting way.

The sights and sounds are splendidly immersive, creating a sense of realism that I am lost within the wild rainforests of Mexico. The environmental exploration is magical and lively, as you traverse through diversely and vividly colored landscapes that complement the rainforest-like orientation. The ambient sounds of the exotic birds’ screeches as well as the gushing of water spilling over the rocky cliffs evince an organic authenticity, connecting me to nature’s bounty. I am amused by the entertaining background animations that breathe life into the environments, as I watch exotic birds fly away upon touch.

Unfortunately, this series has been stripped of some of the very assets that distinguished it from other series. H.E.L.P. is lacking some “former help” in this game, referring to the disappointing omission of the H.E.L.P. Fact Cards, a former trademark of this series that added an informative aspect as I learned about historical backgrounds, technological advancements, geographical locations, etc. However, thankfully, there are plenty of collectibles in this game that describe the same concepts. Also missing is the engaging use of technological devices/equipments, which provided a scientific edge to the previous storylines.

The adventure portion of gameplay gives way to some dramatic twists and turns, like a heart-pounding task in which you must find a way to get off the island within 30 minutes before the bombs explode. The conceptual presentation of the artwork as well as the storyline are successfully integrated into the HOSs. The variations of such are pleasantly interactive, with puzzle-like elements strewn in. I was delighted that my favorite type was included: Find and Use (aka Progressive Silhouette) in which you find an object within the scene and then manipulate it back into the scene.

The puzzles are configurable under custom settings, and you can solve challenging puzzles on the harder mode. The puzzles reflect the objectives a player is undertaking, and they are cleverly tied into the storyline. One favorite is the one in which you clear the field by connecting pairs or more of the same colored tiles. Some puzzles are multilayered in structure, such as the mini-puzzles on the computer at the H.E.L.P station. I haven’t found any glitches, aside from occasional touch-sensitivity issues when acquiring items.

Overall, even though the adventurous aspects significant to this series are still prevalent, the absence of the previously mentioned features that set this series apart makes me feel as though I am playing a game from a different series altogether. I would love this developer to bring back the magnificent H.E.L.P. Fact Cards and innovative technology that elevated this series to stand-out status. Nevertheless, this is still a terrific game all around.

Can you fix extra work

Confusing

UPDATE 9/28 - I wanted to clarify that even though this looks like an EIPIX game, it clearly isn’t. The only thing related to EIPIX is the name Hidden Expedition. They are the ones who used the H.E.L.P team as a game construct, and I believe some players may be confused by that. I certainly was. I expected the same tools and team members I was used to in the EIPIX series, but was disappointed.

First of all I want to say that I have recently realized how much time and effort LynxMinx expends in communicating with developers to get these games released. She deserves a big thank you from everyone in the gaming community who loves this type of game. Please give her a shout out in your reviews. NOW, on to my review. I will begin by saying that with this game I experienced something I have never incurred in my many years of playing these games. Let me explain in detail. I purchased this game at the beginning before the trial and everything was going great and it seemed to be a really good game. When the scene changed to the flight to Acapulco I was asked to unlock the game again. So I indicated I had already purchased and after a couple of tries the game unlocked. At that point I was on a plane so I thought everything was ok, however the storyline seemed strange and not following the characters I had started the game with. Oh well I thought, I’ll finish and maybe it will start to make sense. I completed the game in about 1 hour - wow, really short I thought. Maybe the bonus will be better. Much to my surprise, I couldn’t open the bonus game as it indicated I had not completed the main story. ??? What ??? At that point I reset the main story and started again. Needless to say, when I got to the flight to Acapulco I expected to be on a plane as I had before. Much to my surprise the story took off on a completely different track altogether. I had not played any of the ensuing scenes before and was totally confounded. I couldn’t understand what was going on, but continued playing. After completing this new game, which was a decent length, I came to the end without ever encountering the original flight crew I had met in the previous game. It was when I opened the bonus game (it let me in this time) I realized that when I was asked the second time to unlock the game I had been taken directly to the bonus section. At least now I didn’t feel as though I had been in the Twilight Zone. I finished the bonus game and other than this unfortunate experience, the game play was very good. If it had proceeded as it should have I would have rated it much higher, but unfortunately, this is an unacceptable occurrence. Hope no one else has to go through this, but if you do, know you are not alone.
