What gives?
Purchased this game and played it completely through. Now that I want to replay it, it tells me that my purchase failed. I want to play this again but I don’t want to pay for it again! What gives?
Needs repair
Closed up on me when it asked for me to pay to continue. Wouldn’t reopen.
Crashed
I don’t know if it was supposed to do that or not. I was playing the game and it just went off. I thought maybe it was just where the free part ended. Or it’s just buggy as others have called it. I can say regardless i won’t buy the game because what if it IS buggy? Then I’d have wasted money on the game. An explanation would be nice

Not Purchased?
I have purchased Hidden Expedtion games. However, I can’t unlock them now, because I get a message that no purchase can be found. These are not the only games doing this. When I tried app support, Oops this page does not exist. Come on, Big Fish! The games are not getting one star; Big Fish is. Please fix this!

Trial too short
I am enjoyed the short trial play but it was too short to make an informed decision on whether I would continue and buy the full version.
I do find it a bit annoying when you HAVE to click on the X to close a window and cannot just click anywhere on the screen.

Post Demo Review; Post Purchase Review 2 Follow
Playing a lot of older but carefully reviewed games and this one has potential to be a good/great one! Demo was fun and interesting like Eipix of old was known for. K i n d a on the short side though so hopefully the full version will be longer (fingers crossed). Since this is a new review of an older game I’m pretending I didn’t read any other reviews already saying it was a bit short as far as total gameplay time-from the old school, no pulled punches, been there done that, tell it like it is-review teammates. ie: Linx Minx, Opinion, KDB etal.
**Off point…but thanks to you listed above and others on giving facts with a small bit of personal opinion in your reviews that help someone like me to judge and decide for myself on what’s what as far as gameplay and mechanics goes.
You know he doesn’t like vampires I hate crime stories. That is ALL personal preference.
But, I digress.**
I hope and pretty sure, long or short, the rest of the game will be fantastic.

Great game
As always from Big Fish, a great game, sometimes the HOP objects are difficult to pick up. But love the storyline and progression through the levels.

I loved Big Fish (hidden puzzles)games for years however this year the puzzles dear with supernatural, witches, spirits etc..
I really wish they would begin make some that doesn’t deal with sorcery. I haven’t bought any in a year because I can’t find any puzzles without ghost and spirits. They used to have both kinds of games available but then they gradually took away the are like mysteries and detective puzzles. I would have given 5 stars before and do but not for this year’s puzzles. 😥

This is one of the best I’ve played in a long time. It lasted quite a while whereas some other games are finished too early for the money! This game was a super star 5!

I have loved this game from beginning to end! Paid the £6.99 and it was well spent. Looking for my next one to play now

Good story line
Graphics good. My main problem is with the mini puzzles. Many are complicated but you get a one sentence instruction. And after you have to skip you see how it was supposed to have been done which often as not doesn’t bear any resemblance to the instructions. I’ve seen other reviews of Eipix puzzles with the same complaint. The developers should listen.
Also, if you’re into morphing objects hidden in the HOPs, it doesn’t count the ones found. I found everyone but the score says I found none. It’s just a one off for Eipix games. I just love finding them all.

Le jeu est jolie.
Les énigmes sont bien faites, difficiles mais pas trop.
Quel dommage qu’au bout de 15mn on nous demande de payer pour voir la suite. Ça gâche un peu.

Glitches galore. Play isn’t smooth. Boring story.

Graphics are amazing
Only thing with this game is that the hops were mostly really small and hard to grab. This is why I didn’t give the game a 5 star rating. Easily a 4 star though.

Unfortunately it seems Big Fish has fallen into a deep rut. I’ve purchased dozens of these games and there’s just no improvement on the play, it feels like it’s the same game with a different wrapping.
My biggest complaints about Big Fish HO games are:
- As I’ve said, there’s nothing new, the games play exactly the same as previous titles. I wouldn’t be even a little surprised to find that they had the same engine with just a different front end.
- They don’t put a hint option on the puzzles. I don’t mean the hidden object puzzles, rather the other ones where you have to figure out a configuration of something, or solve some other type of puzzle. You can skip, but there’s no hint. So it’s either all or nothing.
- How about a switch up in the antagonist? The character we’re playing is almost always a middle aged woman. When it’s not, then it’s a young woman. I am very curious about this. There was a time when every main character was a man, but Big Fish has flipped it to exclude men from the playable character. Kind of odd.
