Are you sure that photo is safe to share? Hide Before Sharing is a simple privacy app that helps you hide personal information in photos and screenshots before you send, post, or upload them. A photo can contain more than you notice at first glance: faces, names, phone numbers, email addresses, home addresses, URLs, QR codes, barcodes, documents, labels, screens, whiteboards, or location details. Before sharing an image on social media, sending a screenshot to support, emailing a document, or posting a photo from work or school, you can quickly check what appears in the image and hide the parts you do not want to show. How it works: 1. Choose a photo or screenshot 2. Review the areas that may need to be hidden 3. Reveal parts you want to keep visible 4. Add extra hiding by drawing with your finger 5. Save or share a protected copy You can choose between solid black redaction and mosaic blur. Use mosaic when you want to gently hide faces, or black redaction when you want to clearly cover text, numbers, labels, or private details. The app does not overwrite your original photo. It creates a separate protected copy. When saving or sharing, you can also remove metadata such as location information. Hide Before Sharing does not send your images to an external server for processing. It is designed to help you review and protect images on your iPhone before sharing them. Use it before posting on social media, sending screenshots by message or email, sharing work or school photos, or uploading images to AI tools and support services. Hide Before Sharing is a small, practical app for safer photo and screenshot sharing. Automatic detection may not find every piece of personal information.
