This app has improved over the last couple years however
When stat screens or written translations are put up subtitles dont appear which makes watching impossible because the characters keep talking but unless its dubbed you dont know what is being said. If the hidive team could fix this that would be amazing
The app never works half the time
I keep on resetting my phone and redownload the app. The app will still not load. I’m stuck paying for something I can’t get into the app.
Worked great till….
Worked great till after the 7 day trial the then it starts crashing and saying the video you were just watching isn’t available for your region and if you reboot the app it won’t even load the home page
It sucks
I subscribed obviously and then it kept billing me even after I unsubscribed and it was more than just “monthly” and the navigation of the app sucked too. I thought it had some good stuff I saw and wanted to watch but I was wrong. Probably the worst app I have ever installed.

App doesn’t work
I got excited because it had anime Crunchyroll doesn’t. Had no issue signing up for a subscription from my phone and then watching it on my desktop. That is where it all ended. The app has never played any videos it keeps saying failed to load. I uninstalled and reinstalled, signed out and back in. On WiFi and off. Made sure no VPN snd then even tried with one. I even downloaded episodes and the app still wouldn’t play them. I tried watching through safari and even Google Chrome and then Firefox and it just will not play on my phone at all. Very disappointing.

Waste of money.
The Spanish subtitles are incomplete; there are segments of the anime where the dialogue remains unsubtitled. Crunchyroll offers a significantly superior experience.
Work horrible
HIDIVE won’t let me log in on the app nor their website whenever i try to sign up it won’t let me like it doesn’t tell me when I’m officially in my account and it also keep saying “connection failed “ when I’m connected to WIFI i try re-fresh but it still says the same thing there’s anime i really want to watch but I can’t because this company took them off form bigger platforms the least they can do is let me in to an account I watch anime on

TV App Nonfunctional/Casting Fails.
While it may have some great shows, any and every version of the app is just FULL of bugs. On the TV the app just won’t load, it literally just gets frozen with the logo and stays that way. Casting from my phone to the TV will work until you decide to use your phone for something else. It will keep playing on the TV but it gets disconnected from the phone. In order to reconnect and have control through the app once again you have to disconnect from the TV, close and restart the app and reconnect. While it may not be difficult it’s incredibly annoying. The apps need to be worked on and by worked on I mean completely revamped. If the app was smoother and had better filtering options you could genuinely surpass Crunchyroll which is overpriced and overhyped as it’s also full of bugs. This garbage app isn’t even worth $2 a month, I would rather pirate everything and risk getting a virus than pay $7 a month for this. I’m so over it.

Too many signs ins
It is getting very annoying constantly having to sign into this app every couple of months. and actually, there is very little dubbed content.

I never actually used this app because I had to sign in and plus to be honest I could never really find my favorite shows so I just kind of forgot about this app fr imma give it the three stars though
Terrible stream
Constantly logs you off. Have an active subscription and still saying subscription isn’t found. Avoid this and try other services.

They refused to extend the subscription despite me not having access to any videos. They refused to refund me directly since it’s a in app purchase. The worst service ever
