Great for Reception kids!
This is a great app to practise recognising and writing the 45 Reception High Frequency words. Nice words of encouragements with kids voice for each time that your child attempt a word.
Not great
This is not a reading game as the word is spoken by the app as soon as it is shown. The word is displayed and the child should write over the top with his/her finger (in joined cursively). The game exclaims a compliment before the next word is shown, regardless of whether the child writes well, scribbles or leaves it blank. There is no skill required, no progress shown, no change or development (even in the order the words of presented), and no effort needed.
