Simple fun

When you need a simple game that isn’t easy, this is it. No ads, clean layout, great balance.

I’m don’t play mobile games but…

This little beauty has me hooked. Elegant, beautiful and so very fun to play. If you like puzzles you’ll love this.

Best Game Ever

I have had this game and played it since 2023 and it is my favorite. I am so sad they have basically stopped supporting it. I really do love it, dark mode has gotten me through sleepless nights with two different newborns.

My most favorite puzzle game!

its so enjoyable to play and plan out my city. Zen Mode forever!

Bug in Zen Mode

I enjoy this game and have been obsessed since discovering it a month ago. Looks like it has been years since the last update, so I don't know if the devs will see this: in Zen mode if you use "undo" twice or more times in a row, there's a bug that erases the whole board! Other than that it's addictive and fun in a challenging way.

Zen and Fun

Took me a little to figure out, but now I find myself looking several moves ahead and building some cool cities, really fun!

Best game!!

This game is so fun and actually good

Disappointing that it cheats so thoroughly

Ultimately you cannot control what colors appear, but once you’ve lasted above 3000 it just gives wrong color after wrong color until you’re stuck.
I wish it was more honest.

Ideal game

This is my favorite game, especially when I need to zone out. There's no pressure for in app purchases after you pay the initial fee to make it ad free. The game play is easy but still engaging. It's a simple pleasure.

almost perfect

great game! love the design. however i’ve built buildings way taller than 11 but my stats for each level say my biggest building record is 11. wish there was a level with even more colours as well

Simple but addictive: One of the best mobile games

In a sea of ad-laden and substandard mobile games, High Rise is an infinitely playable and enjoyable puzzler. What really sets High Rise apart is its minimally interrupted gameplay experience. Ads occur only after losing the game, so a constant steam of advertising can’t interrupt the flow, which is a rare and welcome feature among mobile games. The option to remove ads completely is great but not critical to enjoying the game.

The mechanics are simple but take many trials to master. Having refined a reliable strategy, I can play the same round for multiple days, returning to it during a TV commercial break or while commuting. With focus, I regularly score in the hundreds of thousands (resulting in very rare ad plays).

A warning: If you download this game, it’s very possible that you will never remove it from your library. It’s a comforting puzzler with just enough complexity to keep you coming back year after year. It’s an incredible accomplishment by the game developers to have created a nearly perfect game. The only problem is that not enough people know about it!

Couldn’t get it to work at all ?

These games should start out easy, then get harder as you go.
Not impossible to begin with ?

A Great Distraction

I got this game around the time it came out and it has been the best distraction when my health hasn’t been great and I can literally spend hours playing with a podcast or something in the background. It’s so calming yet puts your brain to work❤️

Relaxing and Fun

This game is a relaxing and fun puzzler. It’s my most played game since I got it a couple weeks ago. Definitely worth the price! The dev should create a hex shape version of it!

Three years later: I got to a Level 26 building on 5x5 map! A year ago I was struggling to get to 15. But now I’ve mastered skills no one else in my life will ever know or understand, so I’m bragging to all of you. Peace.

Simple quick fun

This game has a cute minimalistic charming art style, but you wouldn’t play this for hours on end. I recommend playing “suburb” difficulty since it gives you a quick fun five minute game

Pretty much perfect

I generally avoid phone games but there are certain scenarios like a doctors office or the airport when I literally have nothing else to do. I read about this game in an Atlantic interview and the description was intriguing, and the aesthetic looked appealing. It’s a phenomenal game experience. Simple, elegant, and enjoyable. I was dreading the ads but imagine my surprise when I was given the option to choose my personal reasonable payment option to never see an ad again! I continue to learn strategies so it’s never boring, and there are enough options that I can’t imagine getting tired of playing. I find myself playing this game instead of getting on Instagram or doomscrolling the news, so that’s an unexpected bonus.
