About

Nearly every peer nation runs real high-speed rail. The United States, which built the transcontinental railroad in six years with hand tools, does not. High Speed Rail Authority puts that job on your desk. BUILD THE NETWORK Site your first depot, then draw routes freehand across a real map of the United States — genuine coastlines, the Great Lakes, the Mississippi, the Rockies and the Appalachian spine. Terrain is priced honestly: open water costs four times as much to cross, mountain work two and a half, and every major river adds a bridge to the bill. Route around the geography or pay for it. RUN A RAILROAD, NOT A MODEL Every rider takes an actual path through your network. Close one line and its traffic reroutes onto your alternates — which can overload them, grinding down track and loading the dice for derailments. Tap any city to see exactly where its riders go, how many transfer, and what a direct line would be worth. TWELVE REGIONS, ONE COUNTRY Start anywhere from the Northeast Corridor to Cascadia. Prove the service works and Congress charters the neighboring region — its cities open, and your trains run straight through. Traffic compounds across the whole map. SURVIVE THE POLITICS Award contracts to cut-rate builders or union crews and live with the difference for decades. Set fares by distance or a flat rate. Fund maintenance, or gamble. Appropriations arrive twice a year scaled by public approval, elections swing Congress for or against you, and every so often a decision lands on your desk: settle the NIMBY lawsuit, or fight it. FEATURES • 12 regions, 119 real cities with real populations • Free-form route drawing over terrain-costed geography • Traffic that reroutes, overloads, and breaks • Three contractors, 13 national programs, change stations • Elections, appropriations, strikes, and probabilistic disasters • Three difficulty climates and a guided tutorial • Autosave, a record book, and a National Rail Score Ads are optional: watch one by choice for an in-game boost. No banners, and exactly one full-screen ad per game, the first time you expand into a new region. Optional purchases are available and never required. Your progress stays on your device — no accounts, no tracking. The technology is real. The demand is real. Only the politics is missing.
