Great but super unstable
I love the core game here. The mechanics are simple but there are so many permutations that keep it interesting level to level. The story is a little cheeky but it helps break up the puzzles.
This would be an out of the park 5 if it were so unstable on iOS. I’m on an iPhone 16 pro and it crashes constantly, but at least consistently.
- want to pause the game to look at settings? Game crashes
- get a text mid game? Game crashes
- swipe up to look at another app? Game crashes
Sometimes when the game crashes my progress it reset but then when I do the tutorial again I get all my stuff back.
Overall great game, but be wary of game crashes.

Crazy Crashes
I love the gameplay but, like so many others, have experienced a crazy number of crashes. It crashes every time I switch out of the app, I pause the app, or I try to change the settings while in-game. It has erased all my progress forcing me to start over.
Brandon Sanderson Sent Me
I recently watched a Brandon Sanderson video where he recommended this game. I did really enjoy my time in the game… when it wasn’t crashing. I was even willing to see it through to the end in spite of the crashing as the actual gameplay was a lot of fun, but at (I think) floor 49, the game crashed when I tried to hit pause, and upon reloading the app, all my progress was wiped.
Deleting the app after this. No way I’m going back through those levels again while dealing with the unending parade of crashes. There’s a good game in here, I’m just bummed I won’t see it through to the end.

Fun but buggy
I like the concept. However, the game crashes waaaaay too much. Often after crashing the levels you have completed will be erased. This forces you to restart. It’s frustrating.
Terrible performance on iphone
The game is fun and I’d like to play more but the crashing is ridiculous. It crashes all the time and if you change focus off the app at all it resets all level progress. Some levels can take up to 10 minutes and having all that progress erased is annoying. Even worse last time it seemed to delete my entire game history, it wants me to start from level 1 again. Until they fix these issues I don’t think the game is worth getting.

Got to level 3. Crashed three times in a row and wiped the save. Seems fun though. Thanks to Brandon Sanderson for the rec. But the game needs to be fixed.

It’s a fun word game and I’m really enjoying it. My big issue is the crashes. If you go to settings, crash. Try to view bananas, crash.
It’s also pretty inconvenient that the app restarts every time it loses focus. You’ll be mid way through a level with a great word combo and if the phone locks or app switches all progress is lost and you have to start over.
If those two were fixed I’d really think this is a 4 or 5 star game.

GOAT Word Game
If you play Spelling Bee, Wordle, Blossom, etc - try this. Forces you to think spatially and under different constraints while finding words. Also there’s a story, with robots and monkeys.
Fantastic, memorable, buggy
Amazing gameplay, great story, a favorite. Would rate 5 but latest version crashes frequently. If you don’t touch any menus the two main modes that will load (Story/Chimp) are worth it (though those still will crash sometimes.) If you’re easily frustrated, wait a few patches before calling it a must-get for the good parts.

Love this game
Had it installed years ago by noodlecake studios. Just downloaded this one for a fresh start. So now I have two versions of the gam installed. It would be cool if more levels added over time. Love the music and feel.
Cute puzzle with a decent story
The game feels like boggle meets Tetris. You are trying to bring down people tiles while matching words. Lots of achievements to keep you busy if you like that. They also have a challenge mode as well.
Love this.
Best new word game since Spelltower+.
