Hikayat — Learn Arabic Through Stories You'll Love
Hikayat turns Arabic learning into storytime. Instead of drilling flashcards, you read and listen to beautifully illustrated stories — from the lives of the Prophets to fables, adventures, and lessons in good manners — with every word just a tap away from its meaning.
READ AT YOUR LEVEL
Stories are organized by difficulty, from Beginner to Advanced. Start with short, simple tales and progress naturally as your Arabic grows. Bridge stories help you step up smoothly between levels.
TAP ANY WORD TO UNDERSTAND IT
Stuck on a word? Tap it. Hikayat shows you the meaning instantly, so you never lose the thread of the story. Hide the English translation when you're ready to challenge yourself.
LISTEN TO NATIVE ARABIC NARRATION
Every story comes with clear, natural Arabic audio. Follow along paragraph by paragraph, or use hands-free mode and full-story playback to listen like an audiobook — complete with lock-screen controls, so learning continues while you commute or relax.
BUILD YOUR PERSONAL WORD BANK
Save the words you're learning as you read. Review them with quizzes built from the words you've actually encountered, and track your mastery over time.
STORIES WITH HEART
Explore the timeless stories of the Prophets, told as engaging multi-episode series. Discover tales about kindness, patience, honesty, and respect — stories the whole family can feel good about.
ALWAYS SOMETHING NEW TO READ
A growing library across fiction, non-fiction, and classic tales — plus the ability to generate fresh stories tailored to your level, so you never run out of reading material.
Whether you're a student, a parent raising Arabic-speaking kids, or a lifelong learner reconnecting with the language — Hikayat makes every reading session count.
