Hike Info

We designed Hike Info to be a very simple and easy to use hike tracking app. This includes simple one-button operation to start and stop hike tracking. The app automatically detects breaks so no need to manually pause and resume tracking. Designed from the beginning with accessibility as a key featue. A minimum of buttons and information fields makes it easier to use with voice-over. Automatically detects the drive-away scenario and ends the active hiking session when a car movement speed is detected. Includes a list of your most recent hike summaries for review. Moving time is tracked separately from total time and moving time is used for the average speed calculation. This way, breaks and stops do not lower the calculated average speed. High precision location data is required by this app.
