This app is a godsend
Terrible app
I have had this app for less than 10 minutes and I am already having problems. First of all, they don’t have any people from my top choice school making it impossible to ask questions about it. Secondly, they don’t even have my high school so it won’t let me enter it as part of my profile. Thirdly, when it suggests people for you to follow, it doesn’t give you anyone from you’re dream schools, it just give people from the best schools. Overall bad app.

Transfer students?
Would be better if there are transfer students’ community. The very first question of whether you are a high schooler or college student makes me awkward... I mean man, I am a college student who wanted to go to another college.

I wish I had access to Hindsight when I was in high school struggling to realize what I wanted out of my college experience and how certain universities weighed certain aspects of the application. I also didn’t have access to the advice and mentorship that is available on Hindsight. As a mentor, I hope to help students get a better understanding of the college experience and offer any insight that I can!

This app provides such a great opportunity for high school students to have the questions answered first hand from those kids experiencing everything that they are curious about! It’s super easy to use and is another platform for students to connect with one another!

I really wish I had this resource when I was in high school! As a mentor, I love helping aspiring students. Being a first generation college student, I know how hard it can be to get advice. On the app, students can ask questions about the application process, student life at different colleges, classes to take, you name it. Real college students give their genuine advice. For free!

Super helpful!
I recently downloaded this cause I’ve just had so many questions about what to expect for college. It’s so great to hear from people who have been in my shoes and have also been where I want to be. When I post a question, the mentors are quick to reply, and with solid, helpful advice that I can use to my advantage. I really recommend this app for any high schoolers having trouble when it comes to college decisions, preparations, and expectations. One downside I saw was that you can’t select multiple ethnicities, which is unfair for me and others with two or more ethnic backgrounds. Overall, it’s worth the download!!

I’ve been freaking out so much about college applications but getting to hear real responses and cases of kids who went to the schools I’m looking at calms all those nerves. Would be a 5 Star review but I wish you could private message mentors that haven’t responded to your personal threads because I’ve found some I want to talk to, but I can’t reach out.
