Extortive monopoly run by match group
I pointed out online that match group is using their near monopoly on dating apps to extort users in order to make them pay for visibility and matches and then my hinge account was banned the next day. It sucks because before match group bought hinge it was one of my favorite apps and worked really well for me because I would always put effort into that first message but soon as match group bought them out my visibility and the usability of the app slowly plummet to such a point where it doesn’t matter how witty of a pick up line you use if you don’t pay you won’t get a match and from an app where its whole original schtick was to use your wit to stand out that seems like a terrible and misleading bait and switch especially when you have the knowledge of how the app functioned beforehand

Was blocked for literally no reason
I openly told a person I don’t find interest in meeting them. Un matched and they reported me for sometime thing faulty which got me blocked for no reason. Thank you hinge for not even looking into my case to appeal. Stupid @ss program

Terrible & Untrustworthy App
With each update they make this app worse and take away features.
They took away verification status from people who had already verified their profiles. Now you have to use their creepy, privacy invading biometric face scanning for verification. And they hide the profiles of people that won’t give a creepy tech corporation their personal face scan data.
Nobody should be trusting Hinge with that kind of data. Most recently they locked the free undo feature behind a paywall. Garbage company and garbage app!

Disappointed
The app connects you to real people who are looking for real connections. I initially deleted the app after connecting well with someone offline (even though we didn’t work out) through the app but came back to find that I got banned.
