We’ve been travelling around in our caravan and Hipcamp has given us some of our best camping experiences. 👌🏻

Another fantastic stay in such a peaceful setting. Spotless clean amenities and Catherine is a great host, nothing is too much trouble. We even got to see newborn lambs and of course the Alpacas. Can’t wait to return.
Customer Support
Very disappointed customer support Be very careful before making an instant booking. In my experience, canceling almost immediately after realizing the reservation would not work did not protect me from losing a substantial amount of money. I never stayed at the property or received the service I paid for, yet I was still unable to recover most of my payment. Read every cancellation condition carefully before , After spending $578, the final gesture from Hipcamp was $10 in Hipcash. That response made me lose confidence in their customer service.

It’s a great way to explore our beautiful country and support farmers. You return home relaxed. Love the app. Easy to use.
Good app
Not bad, this is a good app to search for private campgrounds. The only issue I've had was in modifying my reservation I was charged as if I was booking the site again. My host said there should not have been a modification charge. I called customer service and opened a support ticket but I have not yet had time to follow up on it.

Terrible
You put in the dates and the area you want to camp and it brings up options that are hundreds of kms away and aren’t available on the dates that were entered. Come on it’s not that hard to make a simple to use app.
Used for the first time.
Paid for a spot it didn’t say any where that I read that you don’t get the address once you pay.
No response from host so now we don’t have a place to stay. They won’t refund even though I had just paid. What a rip off.

Luckily I was assigned account manager Ashley who responds promptly and offers advice, guidance and helped me modify my profile. All of which led to the first of what we hope to many more bookings. Thanks Ashley!
Great App - Big Fee
So glad to find this app, will definitely use it from now on, but boy are the service fees steep. Ex: $217 booking has a $27 fee to book and it’s not refundable.
I will note that the app is smooth and easy to navigate and looks pretty clean. Would like to see some improvements to the UI, maybe add some personalization settings to justify the steep fee but overall I am happy with it.

Awesome but the app isn’t the best.
Really love Hipcamp so far but the app lags so bad, doesn’t work half the time, and could really use an update! Again, love the service just not a fan of the app
Contact Host feature is broken, again….
The contact host option with the app is broken again. Honestly, it’s not unreasonable to expect better testing and support for this app given its status/rank on Apple Store. Please do better Hipcamp.
Ball Bay View RV Park
I had a wonderful stay. I was greeted upon arrival and given a whole area to select from to park my rig. I even met some of the neighbors Down at the beach and they were very nice as well. I will definitely go back on my next trip through.

This was one of our most pleasant visits. This sites were beautiful. Not much shade but the water makes up for that. It was very quiet. That was probably because it was about 99 degrees. We made our own shade. We also chose the spot that had a big tree. It was great. Easy access to the water. The road is a big bumpy, to be expected. Bring your bug spray you’re going to definitely need it. Many, many, many, many gnats. You can hear them buzzing. I would have given it 5 starts if it wasn’t for all the gnats, but hey you are camping.♥️

🏕️Birthday Wknd! 🎉
One never knows what to expect of a place one has never stayed at. Especially, when traveling with novice campers. However, this place is magical. From the plethora of orchards, to the rolling hills, to the quiet & serenity this place provides. It could not have provided a better sanctuary for my crew. The sky, with its sky divers in the daytime to the night sky at night, also gifted us with the best show. Mesmerizing! And let’s not forget the host! Warm with a beautiful heart. Thank you for opening up your place to us! 5⭐️+

Full camp
Beware if you are trusting this app with confirmation or you will end like myself and a 6 year old going to a camp site and just to find out they are full and the app send a lot of request even if they are booked. No hard filling for the staff at the camp but the app shoot guarantee confirmation before accepting a full payment

Double D Orchards
We had a short stay here and Dirk was a very generous host. Easy to communicate with, the property had great amenities- clean toilet, sink and shower. Large communal fire pit and social area. We were not there long enough to enjoy it but will definitely reserve it again. The location is walking distance to some wineries and biking distance to all the rest. A bag of peaches upon our arrival was a beautiful gesture.
