Very rudimentary
The app is cute, yes, but the bubble animation is very jerky on my 4G. It doesn't learn at all, so you end up drilling letters you already know. It doesn't do katakana. Basically, I would use one of the free Kana flash card apps instead of paying for a product that doesn't do any more.

Great App on IOS4 until I've upgraded to IOS5 and the app.
Sounds are fading after a few sessions of revising the Kanas. Then the bubbles gradually do not show the Kanas inside. Can you guys fix it?

App doesn't even work, there is no sound, bubbles or start button. Can't use, don't buy.
HAS SOME PROBLEMS
A great concept but I have had problems with the bubbles not appearing, sound not functioning etc which doesn't seem to happen in the katakana version. Maybe I downloaded a dodgy one!!?
Great app
I think this app is great if you just want to touch up on your character recognition but it would be even better with a score board so u can try and better your score each time :)
Missing all the words
I'm expecting the rest of the words like ga ge gu..... And there is no option to pick your words to practice. A little disappointed:(
Glitches
Fun app, really enjoying it until buttons and sound dissappeared. Reset my iPhone and it's back to normal
Needs a bit more work
I like the concept it works great but needs more features. Id like to see:
-Improved graphics for iPhone 4
- more hiragana than the basic hiragana characters
-ability to increase difficulty I.e more balloons etc.
- different themes and colors to choose from to keep it interesting
- score recording to track you are improving
- ability to review results at the end of the game to see which characters you are getting wrong and need to work on.
I really hope to see some updated features as I love to concept of it, as I tend to learn better visually!

Very good for keeping you sharp on hiragana! I would like it better if the bubbles actually popped instead of just moving on. Very good app! :)
Not really worth it
This would get 4 stars if it was 99 cents and included other things like the tentens and glides. Great practice tool if it included more.
