HIS WORD Scriptures Bible App

New books in Hebrew and English, notifications, more accurate Hebrew, and clearer sacred colors. NEW BOOKS — HEBREW AND ENGLISH • 1 Enoch, 2 Enoch and the Book of Jubilees are now in your library, in Hebrew and English for every chapter. Find them in the new “Enoch & Jubilees” section, taken from the H.I.S. WORD print editions. • Read them side by side in the Hebrew & English reader, or in English alone. • Precept references are colored by canon. Tap one to jump to the verse it quotes. NEW: PUSH NOTIFICATIONS • H.I.S. WORD can now send you notifications about new content and updates. They’re optional, and you can turn them on or off anytime in your phone’s settings. APOCRYPHA, MATCHED TO THE PRINT EDITION • Every Apocrypha book has been rebuilt to match the printed H.I.S. WORD page for page. Missing, shifted and mixed-up passages are restored, including the Prologue to Sirach and 2 Maccabees. • The Book of Adam & Eve now shows all 44 chapters, and the blank chapter is fixed. HEBREW & ENGLISH READER • Thousands of Hebrew New Testament words were corrected, so the root and meaning you see when you tap a word now match the word in the verse. • Every Old Testament word now shows its full vowel pointing, with no more bare consonants (for example, Psalm 105:28). • Punctuation now stays in place next to the Hebrew Name in English verses. CLEARER SACRED COLORS • Gold, scarlet, royal blue and purple are easier to read in both day and night mode, across the readers, Verse of the Day, Memorize, the Strong’s card, the concordance and the Name Book. The colors themselves have not changed. Gold Hebrew is now set in bold letters. Ba Shem Yahoshua.
