Anyway, I love this product. You don't know how much time it saves me. And the new features are welcome!
We still need more stability tho. Interacting with Hivelighter sometimes feels clunky and like a Web App. So please don't just add new features.

Worst app ever
After 3 minutes of use I got a virus. It stole plenty of my private info stored in the phone. It’s super laggy. Feel scamed. The app suggested me plenty of racist quote. Unbelievable

Bugged
Asked me to use fb to log in. I use fb and it keeps asking to log in.

This app is great in theory but it hasn’t functioned properly for me.
Crashed error 400
At sign up the app crashes and did not recover. Hopefully my personal information hasn’t been hacked and stolen...:

Doesn’t Actually Work
Some problems to address:
1) Every time I highlight something anywhere on the web, it gives me the yellow loading icon and that’s it. After that it doesn’t go anywhere. I tried using several different browsers as well as articles from other apps like news and social media, but no go. It just doesn’t work at all for me.
2) When I tried looking for a help menu, or troubleshooting tips, there was none to be found. The only option in the app is to contact customer service and i don’t want to waste time going back and forth. Developers should provide an FAQ or Help Menu within app so that users can go back and see if they missed something from the original instructions.
3) You can’t save or share other people’s highlights! I thought the whole point of this app was to highlight and save your content and see and share other people’s content? If we can’t do that then what’s the purpose of the main feed? We are supposed to watch and say “oooo”? There is no button or option on other people’s feed through which we can share their original article so this needs to be fixed asap. We should be able to re-share other people’s highlights, but on top of that, we should also be able to save other people’s articles if we just want them for private viewing.
Overall i was so excited for this concept but it fell flat and now I am sad! I hope the developers can fix these bugs and make the app more use-able!

Cool idea- but lacks a fundamental feature.

Glitchy but such a cool concept
I honestly think this is a great alternative to me continuously screenshotting articles and having to go find the exact words I needed, but this app is SUPER GLITCHY!!!
I wish it worked better, I also wish it didn’t have to go into the app every time I highlight something, I just wanna highlight and move on. Great concept though, hope they work out the kinks
Signing up is annoying, it’s unresponsive. Also I wish there was a feature in the app you could type in a word and it would pull up everything for you.

I really don’t like how it is set up. Only good for learning random things, no search, and very confusing. I am deleting

Easiest and fastest way to save and share snippets online. I love that my friends know exactly what part of the article I’m referencing
The absolute best!
I have recently returned to school for a social change degree and I love this app! It allows me to highlight many, many resources and return to my page to reference them. I also am able to keep track of cool info and get quick bits of info from others. The app has truly been a game changer for me! 💜

Almost perfect
This is a great app and what I’ve been looking for for years! However, I can’t seem to find a way to delete a highlight. This is really annoying when you make an error or no longer want to see a highlight on your profile.

I just downloaded this app less than 5 minutes, because it sounded really cool! Unfortunately it keeps crashing, therefore making the app unusable! Deleted!
App quits upon opening after last update
I just updated the app and now it quits as soon as I try to open it. Thinking it needs another update to fix what the last update caused...
Insta for articles
Kind of like Instagram for articles. But instead of news being fed to me based on what I’ve clicked on in the past (ahem Facebook, Google) I get to skim the feed for more interesting articles/posts.
