What's New in Hivewire 1.13.0 The Living Forage Map Explore nectar and pollen potential around your apiaries on a live map — forage quality by area, bloom activity, and community observations, all in one view. Find it under Bloom & Forage → Map. Bloom & Forage, leveled up • Named honey flows — see your region's flows (like "Gallberry & holly flow") with projected date windows. • Honest flow status — the flow/dearth card distinguishes major from minor flows, shows the season phase, and tells you plainly when feeding is (and isn't) advisable. • Reported nearby — community bloom observations from iNaturalist enrich your local picture, alongside your own logs. • Know your plants — species carry an origin badge, invasive-species call-outs, and data sources. • Log blooms faster — record a sighting across multiple apiaries in one entry. Walk up — your devices wake up Hubs and gateways sleep to stretch their batteries; now the app wakes them for you. • Open a device screen and nearby hubs notice your phone and open their Wi-Fi within a few minutes. • Out of range, or a cellular gateway? Tap Wake and the request travels through the cloud — the app tells you when the device confirms. • When a device's Wi-Fi is open, its row turns teal with a one-tap Join — no trip to iOS Settings, no password. • Optional Wake Devices on Arrival: pulling into a yard wakes its devices before you're out of the truck (off by default, per apiary). Device management, redesigned • Hubs, gateways, and sensors in one clean card list — name, role, firmware, and battery visible before you ever connect. • See each device's operating role at a glance, switch modes remotely or at the hive, and update firmware — all from one flow, with one entry point. • Battery levels now appear directly on nearby-device rows during scanning, and the Bluetooth Devices screen supports pull to refresh. • Connection attempts now recover gracefully instead of getting stuck. AI summaries, right where you need them • Apiary, hive, and journal views now load a short AI period summary automatically — what your data shows, in plain language. • Hivewire AI answers render formatting properly (bold, lists).
