Spam calls still get through
Very disappointed in the quality of spam blocking. Also all customer service is ai. Terrible. Want my money back. Some of the apps limitations should be explained. Its letting spam calls thru at 6 am. Wrong number. Selling insurance. I don’t recommend this app.

Honestly it has stopped 90% of the robo calls coming in to where they don’t call as frequently and I’m not bothered by them because Hiya takes care of it. Occasionally one will come through that’s screened but I don’t even have to pick up because I know it’s a scam. I see some complaints on here. Just pay the $3.99 a month and set all the features and you won’t have any issue.

Now they are ripping off quality of caller ID also I NEVER WILL ANSWER PERSONAL OR BUSINESS LINE WITHOUT NAMES!😡😤
I just realized that area code showed state before now after this RECENT UPDATE I DID NOT SEE THAT AT ALL! TRILLIONS 👎

I have been using this app for years and I love it.
Not a single spam call or VM
I’ve had Hiya app on my phone for YEARS. I’ve off and on subscribed. It was helpful on occasion. Especially in its early days when spam to cell phones was relatively new. Then tech companies learned more. AT&T had active armor for customers doing basically the same thing. So I primarily used that and found little use for the Hiya app. Now move into iOS26 era. Built in call screening. I thought it would be amazing. But it absolutely was NOT amazing. I then became plagued by not only constant calls but also by several spam voicemails all day, every day, every time of day. So I’m looking for a new solution because Apple’s built in was basically useless, I decided to explore Hiya again. I found they have their own call screening. Real screening. Using Hiya now has been incredibly beneficial. Since the day I set it up giving Hiya control of screening and voicemails, it’s been incredible. I’ve not had a single spam call get through to me. And the spam voicemails are gone too!! Whatever they are doing at Hiya is saving my sanity. I was considering giving up my phone number because it had become so bad. I feel like I can live with my phone again. I paid for the annual plan and it’s worth every cent to remove those incessant nuisance calls that no one else seemed to want to help out with! 100% recommend this app and using its advanced call screening. It’s worth the $$!!!!

Great free version
I went from 15-20 spam calls a day down to a couple a week once I installed the app and signed up for the free version. There is no need to pay high prices for a spam blocker on your phone, this free version works great. Don't look for an excuse to spend money elsewhere

Have used this several years. Sadly it has recently stopped working. I receive 6-8 calls a day that are spam: political, phishing, hang ups. Bummer!!
Shouldn’t have to pay for the premium app.
Why can’t the website be set up to automatically delete unwanted calls that it identifies as spam fraud telemarketing political and so forth? I hate to have to go in and delete each unwanted call, it is frustrating and time-consuming. Just don’t let the call go through, and delete it. We shouldn’t have to pay extra for that service. R. A.

Did not work for me at all
My wife and I both downloaded this on our phones to curb the number of Spam Robo calls we were getting. It caught one out of seven for me. I did a support chat to see if there was something I was doing incorrectly or if I needed to set something up differently and a support chat kept telling me do this and then do this but then when I would go there that option wasn’t available. Let me down that path three times and then finally it told me to just copy and paste the number every time. Functionality is very limited. It does not catch spam calls.

it worked! free at last!
i have been getting 3-5 spam calls every day for the past several months, always from different numbers so impossible to block. for the first few days after getting the app, it blocked the calls, and sent me alerts in the app. i have now stopped receiving the spam calls completely. i am very happy with this purchase.

With the most recent update I have noticed a significant improvement in performance.

Don’t get me wrong, I love the Hiya app, but this is my second time around on this app. First time around it worked perfectly. Now this time I keep getting spam calls through and ringing on and off daily when app is supposed to screen and stop any number that’s not recognized , buts they are getting through. Hopefully someone sees this and gets to the fix. Because I’d Love to rate this app

Still get the same amount of spam calls
I installed it about 10 days ago and still get anywhere from 6-8 spam calls a day. That’s exactly how many I was getting before. I triple checked the settings, the spam blocker is activated but fails to block any calls. Disappointing!
