Call Log
I’ve had the app for years and I love it! However, I was trying to clear out my unneeded duplicate calls from the Call Log and discovered that my only option was to delete the hundreds of calls individually.
That option was apparently available in previous versions but removed. Please add it to your next update.

Can’t bulk delete calls
This app only allows deleting previous calls from the list one at a time. That is ridiculous!.

None of the spam calls have been identified. Native iOS Live Caller ID still not supported
I’ve been testing paid subscription for the last year and none of the spam calls have been identified by Hiya. Also, native iOS Live Caller ID is still not supported. Not worth paying.
Not a very good app
If you don’t buy their premium app, every time you update app, the protection numbers drop. I started out at 204,000 it now shows 164,000

Hya is a great app to have it will detect a spam or if you are not sure it will tell you wheather it’s save or not, I would recommend it.
Waste of money
It seemed very promising once I got it working, I had my hopes high. It does screen calls and it does identify AI slop trying to call you with a scam. But it even after the screening argues with the AI to tell it it’s a business over and over it eventually just let the call go through. Completely defeats the purpose. Trying to get a refund now.

Worst App Scam
If I could leave negative stars as an option, I would.
First off, I’m not confident on how this app was connected to my phone number in the first place.
I sporadically started receiving notifications that “all calls are being answered by Hiya”

I had no idea what that
even meant….
I definitely did not give my approval to grant access to my iPhone /anyone/business/ app the access to my phone/calling features.
I looked up what hiya was and tried to contact them. Of course there no phone number listed and the email listed is incorrect.
I don’t have the app installed, my settings confirm that I’m am not signed up for any call forwarding/fraud scanning services,
Yet, I’m still receiving notifications that my called are being sent to Hiya.. to which I have no access to.
The ONLY way to remove this app and stop the call forwarding,
IS TO CALL YOUR PHONE CARRIER TO DELETE,

Also, I have NO access to any of the calls or voicemails that were intercepted by Hiya

AI is getting smarter
This app’s call screening is amazing. It’s saved me from so many unnecessary phone calls. It’s absolutely worth the cost. I also have a separate personal data removal service that has reduced the number of spam calls I receive which also helps. However this app was so impressive after I did all the set up I was telling everyone I know about it (if they were interested).
Here’s 1 new problem. It’s currently end of Aug 2026. In the last 2-4 weeks the AI voice spam calls are getting more sophisticated. They are repeatedly bypassing Hiya’s screening system. When I review the Hiya log, it is identifying AI or a deep fake but it’s letting the call through. This is starting to get rather irritating. I had enjoyed the phone silence for so long! I hope the Hiya developers are working on their product to strengthen its ability for early AI detection. As we all know blocking a phone number is useless as they just spoof one number to the next.
I’m still holding out and keeping the app hoping they can fix and counter the new spambot advancements.
But if I stopped this Hiya screening, it would be far worse. Despite the breaks in screening, over the benefit still far outweighs the failures!!!

Has not blocked a single spam call
I’ve had this installed for two days and not a single call has been blocked. What is the point of this if it doesn’t do as it says.

Spam calls getting through recently
More loan spam calls seem to be getting through in the last month or so. I’d also love a setting I can toggle to block a call if an AI voice is detected.

I am still having to use my blocking settings on my phone to block calls, I was not able to

Really doesn’t block or mark spam as indicated u still have to enter a no for it to block

Totally useless. Always getting calls from Canada claiming to be tax resolution. I don’t even live in Canada.
Hiya call screening
I’ve had this on my phones for several years. It was one of the most useful apps I’ve ever had on my phone but I am thinking about deleting it. Maybe it’s just not playing well well with the IOS updates or my antivirus software, but it’s become almost useless the past couple of years. I use it now only to look up unknown numbers and block them.

Cannot enable call blocker have taken all the steps, but it doesn’t work very confusing instructions
