Doesn't block the loan/tax scam calls from leaving voicemails
I am still getting a few direct to voicemail scam voice messages offering personal loans and tax relief.

I am beginning to regret giving my money to this app. The whole reason I paid for the premium service was so I would no longer have to manually report and block spam, scam, and fraud calls. Not to mention, no longer having to repeatedly delete voicemails every day. The app worked great during the trial period and even for a couple weeks after I paid. Then, all of a sudden, calls began slipping through, and each day it gets worse. Today, it has let at least 4 calls come through. I am right back to square one. What a disappointment and a waste of money!!

This is a simple feature that this app has over complicated and with the latest update you can’t copy paste at all

Last time I installed this app it was amazing. It’s not working at all anymore.
Still getting calls
I Installed Hiya and am still getting robocalls and telemarketing. It doesn’t seem to block anything. It also doesn’t show what, if any, calls have been blocked.
Not good
I get just as many calls with this spam blocker on than I do without it. I have reported my issues multiple times and get no response.. I do not recommend.

It is almost as effective as having no phone spam blocker at all. It supposedly syncs all the numbers I block but when checking the app, it shows “0” blocked numbers along with the perpetual promo to “upgrade to premium”.
Meh.
The app functions well, but it doesn’t have enough options for reporting. Scams and phishing would be other types of categories that these calls would fall under. Also, I don’t know the point of reporting any of this because nothing is ever done about any of these callers.

Older version was far superior. WTF. Terrible update & design. Purple layout is gross, giant print for who? Buttons don't work, BLOCK should be at TOP, many issues. FIX IT. REMOVED NAME FEATURE UNLESS WE PAY. TIME TO CHANGE TO A NEW MORE INTELLIGENT CALL BLOCK APP
Spam calls
I’ve had this app a about 3-4 years and it has greatly reduced the spam calls. But in the last 6-8 months I get about 25 or more calls a day about Medicare or final expense plan or grocery benefits. I have better things to do besides answer and block unwanted calls. Do better!
False Spam Label on Legitimate Business Number
Important issue for legitimate businesses: Hiya is incorrectly labeling my genuine business phone number as Spam. This is causing customers to distrust or ignore our calls and is directly affecting our business.
I have already submitted a removal/review request, but the incorrect classification remains. Hiya should provide a transparent and responsive verification process for legitimate businesses to prove ownership and correct false spam classifications.
Please review my number and remove the incorrect Spam label. A false spam designation can seriously harm a legitimate business’s reputation and customer communication.

This is a great app that doesn’t cost a lot of money and it works
Better than most but still not great
I’m convinced that spammers and debt collectors pay the spam blockers to be able to break through the blocking because this app lets an awful lot of calls through. It’s better than Verizon’s call filter app. I’m curious if upgrading to premium would help this but I doubt it. The premium upgrade promises are vague at best.

Slow to respond, and a hassle to manually paste a number for a search. (How many clicks required to paste a number?)

App simply does not work. Does not block calls and does not give names of calls. Just gives states name. I can do that with an internet search.

This app is Awesome!I love that it completely stops the phone ringing when it doesn’t recognize phone number from my contacts, AMAZING!!! Everyone should be using this, if you get so many unknowns and spam calls this is for you!!
