FIND YOUR LOOK Choose Original for an unfiltered image, HK2 for a dreamy look, or 1988 for retro film-inspired color. Adjust DREAM intensity for the filtered looks and compare an imported photograph with its original before saving. MAKE A FILM Import videos with three seconds selected per clip by default. Automatic selection looks for visually clear moments; you can change the range and length yourself. Arrange clips, save separate projects and return to them later. ADD THE DETAILS Use available video metadata for dates and places, or edit and hide captions yourself. Choose a font, apply settings across your clips, and optionally add a filter. Studio filters are a choice, not a requirement. FRAME YOUR SCENE Choose photo and video ratios. Hold your phone upright while framing a landscape video. Preview your finished film and save it to Photos. All camera filters are free. Optional monthly 1990 Membership removes ads. The price is displayed in the app before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through your Apple account. Deleting your app account does not cancel a subscription. Apple or Google sign-in is required. Camera and microphone permissions are used when capturing media. Local film projects stay on your device; this is not a cloud backup service.
