Wrong video for skill listed...

Hockey 4 Bonus skill video is wrong. The element is listed as “forward to backward Mohawk pivots”. The gentleman in the video is doing backward crossovers on the circle. No Mohawks are executed. 3/14/19

Other than that, overall the app is useful for showing students examples. Bc doing element while your trying to explain doesn’t always work out well.
Body position, arm/leg position, what part of the foot to push with etc is described in some skill descriptions but not all. For someone who doesn’t have previous knowledge or experience with these elements and is really relying on this app to learn/teach, more description would be needed.

Excellent add-on to skating lessons

This is a great app with skills needed through all levels of skating. I use it as a supplement to lessons, and a way to watch what's required to prepare for drills and skills. I recommend it to everyone who asks me for tips on skating.

Very helpful

As a figure skating coach who has been given a few hockey students this is very helpful.

I would love to see written descriptions of each move with hints on focus (power, edge quality, etc) to go with the video.

In Level 1 it states "show plow stop", which I am sure could be fixed to "snow plow stop" with the next upgrade.

Really good app

These apps are great. Chock full of useful information and video samples. Easy to use if you're a coach or student. They also make great reference for the casual skater. Cant wait to see what comes next.

Skate Coach Hockey 1-4

Pretty good visual demonstration's for intro level hockey players wanting to understand & improve their skating...Great start and jealous that USAH doesn't have I-Tunes apps like these yet.
