Hodierna is the baby logbook that replaces the paper feeding chart the hospital sends you home with.
It is built for one hand, half asleep, at three in the morning, often with no signal.
WHAT IT DOES
• Log a feed, a diaper, sleep or a temperature in one tap
• Time a breastfeed per side, pause it, switch sides, stop it
• Either parent can start a feed and the other can finish it
• Everything works offline and syncs when it can
FREE, FOREVER
The whole logbook is free and always will be. Every entry, every day, every export. Nothing a parent needs at three in the morning is behind a paywall or a network.
SHARED, PROPERLY
Invite the other parent and you keep one logbook between you, live on both phones. A feed or a nap started on one phone shows on the other at once, and stops on both when it stops. Invite a midwife or a postpartum doula with a short code, approve it yourself, and their access ends by itself when the week does.
NIGHT WATCH
An alarm that rings if nothing has been written down for as long as you chose. It re-arms itself after each feed, only between the hours you set, and it does not stop until somebody actually writes something down.
THE BOOK
Every day, readable forwards the way it happened. Search everything you have ever written. Photographs collected by date.
PREMIUM
• Store the paperwork: discharge letters, the newborn screening card, insurance, and search inside them
• A one-page summary for the clinic
• One subscription covers the household — the other parent does not pay to read entries they wrote
WHAT IT WILL NEVER DO
It does not give medical advice. It states facts — "3.28 kg, 185 g less than last time" — and points at a professional. It never interprets a measurement and never tells you your baby is fine, because it cannot know.
Your entries are yours. Nothing you write leaves your device as analytics: no names, no measurements, no photographs, no notes. Everything is exportable, always.
In English, Dutch, Turkish, German, Spanish and French. Data stored in the EU.
