Bluetooth Will Just Fail
You might have luck your first time and really easily get access to the app, but about a day later, the gimbal will never turn on Bluetooth connectivity again, and there is zero information anywhere on how to troubleshoot why your connection won’t be recognized. Very cool.

Bluetooth problem
Can’t connect to my phone’s Bluetooth.

Impossible to pair the device. Does not even search. Useless accessory. Sending it back to the supplier

Like other reviews the app doesn’t even seem to search to connect to my new iSteady Pro 2. Worthless app at the moment. Connecting to the device it is supposed to control is Step 1.

I have now tried this app on both my iPad Air 2 as well as my iPhone XS. The app can’t find my brand new gimbal on either device. The app doesn’t seem to actually even perform a search. When I tap the refresh button nothing happens. This app is 100% useless on multiple devices!!!
Get their other app instead
This app doesn’t work with an iPhone 8 on the latest iOS. However, if you search for Hohem Gimbal that app does connect via Bluetooth and all the features seem to work great. Good luck 👍
Inconvenient
My phone connect the first few times I used the app. But now, it doesn’t seem to want to connect and I can’t change any settings on my gimbal or access battery level.

Not too bad.
The App still has a ways to go with the calibration portion. However, connectivity was rather simple and quick. I haven’t experienced any drop off or lag between the gimbal and app which is awesome. I would recommend doing the offline calibration until they get the online worked out.

This app is incredibly easy to use. Not sure why there is so much fuss. Love it!

This app just doesn’t work for me. Product is brand new and won’t calibrate.
