FACE ID AND TOUCH ID Turning them on in Settings now asks for your face or fingerprint right away. You know at once that the sensor works, and nobody else can add theirs while your device is unlocked. IMPORT FROM ENPASS Export your vault from Enpass as a JSON file, then choose Settings → Import. Hoidur shows you what is in the file before it adds anything, never changes the items you already have, and tells you about anything it could not bring across. Categories you made yourself in Enpass become groups. When it is done, Hoidur offers to delete the export file, which holds every password in plain text. Import is free. EXPORT YOUR VAULT On iPhone and iPad, Settings → Export Vault now writes a full copy of your vault. Before, it was only on the Mac. A FORGOTTEN MASTER PASSWORD Recovery with your Apple ID now asks you for a new master password straight away. If recovery cannot help, you can start a new, empty vault instead of being stuck. Starting a new vault on one device no longer stops your other devices from being recovered. ALSO NEW • Vault Health, which finds weak and reused passwords, is now on iPhone and iPad too. Tap the shield at the top of the sidebar. • You can create a vault when iCloud Keychain is off. Hoidur tells you plainly that a forgotten master password cannot then be recovered. • The master password box tells you how long to make it, and the number drops as you add capitals, numbers or symbols. • The welcome screen and the lock screen have a new look, with larger text. A check appears when the two passwords match.
