What's New in HokieTransit

1.7.0

August 28, 2026

Is it busy? New: check how busy campus is before you head out. - Gyms: live occupancy for War Memorial Hall and McComas Hall. - Dining halls and Newman Library: tap once to say how busy it is, and see what other students are reporting. Route detail now shows every bus running your route, not just one. Tap a bus to follow its own stops and arrival times. Live arrival times are also matched to the right bus far more reliably when buses are running behind schedule. Map and navigation: - The live map is now a full-width button on the home screen, and it opens where you left it. - One tap switches between satellite and the street map, and you can flatten the map to 2D. - Your style and 2D choices now carry into turn-by-turn navigation. Transit Feed has moved into About.

Big life saver!!

Hokie transit has helped me get to class on time so many times. super thankful someone made an app like this because it makes getting around campus way easier. really useful and just easy to use. Love the features too. the 3D map is my favourite

If only this came out sooner

I’ve been on campus for the past 5 years, and I gotta say, if you can’t sell this to BT I would be so disappointed. You’ve done a great job and you deserve some payment!

User Interface

The UI on this app is far better than the previous one. I felt as though the other one was a bit harder to use
